I've never bought anime dvds before, I've been watching anime for 15 years but I've always done it online.

Gintama is the one anime I'd like to have on DVD though,
does anyone know if there's a place I could buy Gintama DVDs with original dub + eng sub in Region 2?

Your Best choice is buying online but its very risky since dvds are so easy to fake.
Still is it a collecting desire? Dvds have lost alot of use these days, sooner or later they Will seize to be and replaced by something more compact and less fragile. My opinion is prob uncalled for here but unless you want to display them an 1tb USB with all the eps you want to keep is a safer (and cheaper) way to keep them forever

Im fairly sure there are no official gintama dvds region 2 that have English subs , the closest official thing would be the German dvds , they’re region 2 but no English . But if you don’t care about it being official , there are tons of Region zero bootlegs from Malaysia that have English sub not sure of their quality though .

Very based! I was also looking for official DVD but there are none in Europe. You could order used ones on Amazon etc. Enentually buy diffrent merch in Japan.

Thanks for the answers. I probably will just continue watching online if there's no official DVDs available. The one thing I'm into collecting is DVDs of my favorite tv shows. So I thought it'd be nice to have my favorite anime on DVD as well, if there had been official releases available. I'm old fashioned, so I enjoy watching stuff on DVD more than streaming services. I even still own a working VHS player and enjoy watching some old movies on that format sometimes lol. I've never liked downloading anything, so I'm not into USBs.
