Technically seinen but for some reason gives me really strong josei vibes so id go with that one. Maybe include it as something in between?

They are japanese words for indicating the demographic a particular piece of fiction (usually manga and anime) are mostly targeted towards.
Josei = Grown woman (i.e mature romance stuff, usually involving engagements and marriages)
Seinen = Grown man (i.e mysteries, horror, philosophy etc)
Shounen = Teenage guys (i.e epic battles, competitions and superpowers)
Shoujo = Teenage girls (i.e arguably pure and innocent teenage romance with focus on the female lead)

Although the given examples usually fit the demographic, it's not an exact indicator.

Best ending line in anime history = "My name is Saiki Kusuo. I am a psychic."

I am leaning on josei, based on examples given. No horror/mystery… though philosophy could be in both josei or seinen. Even shounen and shojo if you look deeper into the motives and learnings/character growth.
But when taking into consideration that the story is mostly POV of ML… at first I thought it is more seinen.

My vote went to josei…
