I agree. The comparison is not very good, since non-alcoholic beer is actually not that bad. Incest anime with stepsiblings on the other hand, do not taste as good as the full thing.

Blood related for sure.
Not blood related is just a cop-out lazy writers like to use. They want to create the drama/problems of a brother and sister in a romantic relationship, but aren't interested in carrying through with it, so they just say they aren't blood related thinking that makes it all OK.
If you are going to have an incest story, then have an incest story.
