If I remember correctly, it was certain day in a certain summerbreak in which I managed to finish 3 different 12-13 episode anime, so somewhere around 36-39 episodes. Unfortunately I forgot what those anime were. ;( . Though it's really weird how I forgot about it easily. Well, thanks to this forum's question, I managed to remember that day sentimentally speaking.

Whatever the max you can fit in 24h is. When I was catching up on One Piece during school holidays I watched non-stop with autoplay for well over 24h, no food or bathroom breaks.

Oh I skipped the 3-5m intro + recaps though but if that disqualifies it I did the same for D.Gray-Man without any skipping so however many of that you can stuff into 24h

In terms of regular speed probably 25-26 as I know I've finished a few shows that are about that length in a single day if they really hooked me, but sometimes I'll watch something on 2x speed if Im not that into it and just want to finish it, and there was one time where I played 4 isekais on my tv simultaneously on 2x speed because they were pretty much the same thing.

I remember completing 3 1-cour anime in a day, and I felt really achieved. So somewhere around 36 episodes. Unfortunately, that was a long long time ago so I forgot what those 3 anime were. ;( .

Though now that I look at my history.... from yesterday to 5 days ago, I've been watching 21+ episodes each day.... Ahahaha.... the amount of free time I have....

On another note, the amount of 24 minute episodes you can have in a day is... well... if you don't have insomnia that is, so we're gonna assume like 18 hours since 6 hours of sleep is actually the normal amount of sleep for adults I heard, then we convert 24 minutes to 25 minutes for easier math, then multiply by 2 which will be 50, then multiply by 6 which will be 300 minutes, or equal to 5 hours, so 1 cour is equal to 5 hours, specifically 12 episodes, then multiply that by 3 and you get 15 hours, 2 hours and 30 minutes is equal to 6 episodes, so 17 hours and a half would be 42 episodes, plus 1 episode and you have 17 and 55 minutes. Cool. So in under 18 hours, you can watch 42 episodes. Oh, there's 42 extra minutes because we converted from 24 to 25, so let's just assume that time is for eating and other stuff. Lol.

Well, you can go more than 42 episodes for one day because of things like insomnia, which can be achieved by oversleeping the previous day I think? Though I remember when I completed that 3 1-cour anime sitting, I felt really tired, so damn, those who go even higher than that really are amazing.

I think I finished hxh in 5 days or so.
So I averaged 30 episodes a day for 5 days straight but that's probably not the smartest thing to do ^^.
It was back when I barely watched anime so it was a new thing for me, now I'm way slower at watching stuff and enjoy it a lot more ngl.

Hmm okay, I completely agree with what you say, but there are some notes.. Usually, during long viewing sessions, the opening and ending sessions are skipped, and their time is most likely from 3 to 5 minutes. Also, sometimes you skip some parts related to reminding the followers of the arc's progression.. and perhaps after all that you will find that The total time is still around 25 hours at least. Okay, here we are talking about a continuous session, not a single day, or maybe just remove the extra episodes after 24 hours and you're done xD.
Another thing I want to add because it reaches me constantly .. Yes, there are days when we do not do anything in our lives except to sit in front of the computer screen and watch anime, and even if we need to have a meal or a drink, we do that while watching.
And one last thing here we are talking about the longest follow-up sessions and not our usual ones, so even in this quiet time my sessions were usually in the range of 50 to 60 ep and sometimes less.
