| It also seems to fall out of line with what I thought the MAL style guidelines were for selecting the poster art with minimal intrusive writing/text. I seem to recall that argument being used as the basis for the mods' position on the whole kerfuffle involving changing the Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song poster several months ago (an anime from the spring season). The Hanasaku Iroha poster has always been so clean and iconic - beauty in simplicity. It even fits better with one of the core messages of the series thematically and the ethos around which a common Japanese school of thought/philosophy revolves.
