Higurashi When They Cry: Festival Accompanying Arc
| I just finished episode 21/24. Went on MAL to check something out, notice season 1 has 26 episodes. Go back and check, my folder has 24 episodes... All 21 episodes I thought I was watching the first season and I was so ready to get into the second season since people are saying it's better. I can see why now, I absolutely love this show. Welp, I guess I can treat the first season as a prequel that was released afterwards. It sucks that the big reveals and stuff probably didn't have as big of an impact on me as intended but this show is still one of the better mysteries I've watched. I can't believe it took me this long to realize I was watching the wrong one. With that being said, the great writing allowed me to get into the show without needing knowledge of what happened before. Note to self: Read full text when downloading, not just the first few words. |

| Oh no, that's so sad because honestly working out the mystery and having that mysterious atmosphere was one of the things that I enjoyed most about Higirashi. But still I'm sure you managed to enjoy the first season anyway :D |
