Netoge no Yome wa Onnanoko ja Nai to Omotta? is a rom-com where the mc plays a game named LA and its grounded to more realistic mmo's but i can see it base on a Japanese mmo since the only ones popular in the west nows adays are stuff like wow, tera, and mmo's completely different from the one in the show. the one in the sow makes me think of the old mmo's i used to play back when i was a teen and i want to have that feel again with a more recent game so that there would be more players and cleaner graphics and at the moment im starting aura kingdom but its still missing some stuff also pleas don't say mabinogi that game is too old and i got bored of it on its third year

I didn't watch Netoge, but the game they are playing is the same. I don't know if it's still being written, but the most predictable thing you can get from a LN is the idea of love, and when you mingle that with MMORPGs, you have people getting married. It's only a matter of time before they write it in if they are really drawing inspiration from Ragnarok Online.

It's obviously based of Ragnarok

The pink squid mascot looks like a poring

There's an episode where ako wanted to level up fast in order to rebirth. That's also from ragnarok.

I think there was another hint but I forgot what it was

and wow I haven't noticed the map. This adds even more evidence that it's based of Ragnarok Online.

started playingRO and i know now but RO wasn't the only mmo using rebirth theres mabinogi and rebirth is the main point of that mmo it also has marriage and another thing is its just as old

If you're trying to say Ragnarok wasn't the game they're basing their parody around, there's really no help for you. Go play Mabinogi if that's what you really want. Ragnarok was 100% the game they were playing. dwi.

i never said that.... the thing is i hate mabinogi first of all second i was just saying there were a lot of other mmo's back in the day that had a marriage system
