I read through the entire chapter really slowly because I was reading as I was typesetting and I really enjoyed it until the end when it was abruptly cut off. However, I think the essence of this series is it's "show, don't tell". Things happen but it's not always shown on screen and it's not exactly a wish fulfilment series either.

I'm hoping there will be more epilogues in the future as I'll definitely scanlate them!

Wow. That's exactly why I love the Nodame Cantabile series it isn't so annoying and rushed, it is kind of realistic!

Good Epilogue, hope it gets adapted into anime sometime because this really feels like a conclusion!

It felt off, I think the mangaka made this oneshot to ease the minds of the ChiakixNodame shippers and show that their relationship was going better than ever(otherwise why make a oneshot epilogue) only to show it was honestly the same as before. Still like the series, it was good ride and Nodame was definitely my favorite. This sorta feels like the mangaka was testing the waters and see if people would still be willing to see more of them and see if a sequel is possible. I honestly would like a little sequel, I need to see a Nodame and Chiaki love baby in all this.

Seven years later (lol) I just finished the manga and agree with this comment. I like the way Chiaki has a believable and difficult personality. Nodame Cantabile is different, in a good way, from other series aimed at women. It's still funny and sweet, but it feels closer to real life.
