| Hi, i'm Hana and I'm from hawaii. I'm an Anime noob, so please be gentle ;). I joined MAL in November to search for more titles and read reviews, but only now am I exploring the forums! My obsession started in August last year when i binge-watched Shingeki no Kyojin , and then chased it with Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu. I've become completely hooked..so much so, that ive also started reading manga so I can find out what happens after the Anime left off! I honestly don't even have much interest in watching live action movies or TV anymore..lol I cancelled my cable tv, found a few good anime websites , got a crunchyroll subscription, and I'm in Heaven! My anime tastes so far are pretty broad, I like action, blood and gore one minute, then I'm ready for a kawaii romance the next... and of course I won't ever say no to an ecchi staring an Op MC with swagger (marry me πOusawa, Akatsuki ππ) The one thing I just can't budge on is "Sub vs. dub".... I took Japanese as an elective in Highschool, and Love the language.. Although my knowledge has faded and I can't understand a lot of what's said, I still MUST have the beautiful Japanese audio in my ears!!! I'll read subtitles till my eyes bleed out, before I'll watch an english Dub! Anyways... please throw recommendations at me, I'll give anything a try once!! A few little things about me... I'm outdoorsy, & crafty, but always a nerd. I sew & make costumes, accessories & jewelry for myself and friends as a hobby turned small business, & I LOVE to cosplay! ( for years I've cosplayed movie and TV characters, now I have anime character cosplay to attack!) Hmm , I guess I'll also divulge that I've been a star wars addict since the age of 6.. I collect memorabilia & some figures ( yes,they're in their boxes..lol)... ah..you get the idea.. #NerdForLife π Cheers! |

| Aww, Thank you!! πΈ Hey, That's awesome too though, I'm always stoked to re-purpose old fabric i find ,and i love to tear apart thrift store clothes and sew them into something different, giving them a new life !! That's how I make the majority of my costumes!! So long we enjoy our craft, that's what matters most!! π |

I worked on a sail boat for several years that took tourists snorkeling and whale watching, so I recommend that activity! :) |
