I watched this show when it was airing, and I didn't enjoy it. Waiting a week for uninteresting plot developments really hampered the experience. The variety of characters is great but they all are one dimensional and it all comes down to the basic job they work. By the end I didn't care about anyone or anything that was happening, and it was a big let down for me. |

Personally I really liked this show. This seems like a show best being binge-watched, rather than weekly, so I think that changed the experience for me. It was really interesting seeing the struggles of each character in the workplace, and the show tries to make sure that the craziness of anime production is portrayed as accurately as they can (without highlighting the slave-like work, likely lmao). Although a lot of the characters were flat, there were definitely some gems such as the struggling voice actress and the shy animator. Although I wouldn't rewatch this show, I would recommend it. |
