 Part 1: feat. Hetalia I'm actually not really a fan of the Hetalia series for various reasons. Sure, it's a cute concept to personify nations, but it's also kind of degrading in the fact that the mangaka really enjoyed glorifying Japan by embodying the most noble and "cool" characteristics in the personified Japan. Any other negative personality traits or behavior was given to other countries, especially the neighboring Asian countries. So in a way, I view Hetalia as kind of being a bit egocentric (for Japan) and kind of racist towards other countries. But whatever, it's just anime, right? I also find it too short to enjoy as an anime and the humor isn't exactly striking to me in any way. Anyway, so you probably are wondering why I have a Hetalia edition. I actually quite enjoy Hetalia fanart; there are a lot of talented artists out there who draw beautiful Hetalia fanart (unfortunately). I wanted to open this edition up to actually showcase the pixiv artist, 紫, and this artist draws some really sexy Hetalia fanart. Just sayin'.
