The non-profit Nippon Foundation is starting up a new project to use manga as learning tools for young children known as "This is Also a Learning Manga ~World Discovery Project~."

This project aims to collect over 100 manga for encouraging education within students and enhancing their learning experience. This will be done through special educational events as well as through special textbooks.

From only a handful of titles I recognize, they all are great manga. I suppose the rest are also great. Might check them out one day.

I don't think they are bias or anything. These are for children for learning. Better be safe and let them learn from manga that don't contain violence. I'm also not surprised if the moral values we can learn in battle manga, we can also learn them from some titles here.

I'll check the ones I don't know.

Now that looks a respectable list. It's a shame so many of these aren't translated.
