I am a dane, and i really want to see an ánime that is featured in Denmark, so i can see how Japanese people see Denmark, or just so i can look at my country in an Anime.

I watched hetalia, it was really funny, i admit that. And it featured some of the history. But what i am looking for, is an anime about everyday life in Denmark, or something else. If the anime just finds place in the Danish country, or in Copenhagen or something.

Does not exist.

No one cares about little Denmark In 99% of shows. Even outside Anime.

I can't name anything besides the Hetalia characters either. Maybe the Japanese dislike your country because you also create animations? :D No love for rivals?

i ctrl+f'd the wikipedia episode lists of some anime with multi-country settings and none of them mention the words Denmark, Copenhagen, or danish, so i don't think this ever happened..
maybe there's another more obscure one where they have an episode in denmark, but idk.. but there obviously isn't an anime fully set in denmark, and i don't think there ever will be

i think the closest you can get is one of the few Hans Christian Andersen anime

http://myanimelist.net/anime/2783/Oyayubi_Hime_Monogatari

or the old toei ones which are likely unfindable or untranslated

There is manga about Danish Vikings called Vinland Saga. Part of the story takes place in Denmark. I would give my left nut sack to have that manga in anime form.

which studio will pick it up anyways? it's as complex as vagabond, i don't think any studio can justify it.

Madhouse? Farmland Saga portion would be a challenge to turn it into anime but fans would have to switch their brain into "Slice of life" mode I guess.

the problem is vindland saga really depand on background atmosphere. and madhouse is not that great with that (yes some of their them are intense, but i don't give same feeling like when i read it manga). maybe shaft, but the dialogue and character doesn't fit either. bones maybe but i don't think they will pick unpromising series.

They would have to change some stuffs and some of the atmosphere would be diluted maybe. But I think they can do it.

Alice from Shokugeki no Souma was trained in Denmark and I believe Ryo is the child of a dane and a japanese. Honestly that is all I can dig up except for Hetalia...
