Alternate ending to the beginning

I'm sure some of you remember when Kirito cut his finger in episode 1 yeah? Well if the Nerve gear actually does what it claims to do by rerouting the nerve endings in the brain so the body can't move then wouldn't Kirito have bled out because the receptors would have not recognized the fact that his body was bleeding? Blood clotting would never begin due to the brain not realizing it is bleeding. Random I know but just wondering if anyone had an opinion on the matter.

How fitting (or depressing I haven't decided) for my 100th post to be about me complaining about dicks who review shows without finishing them.
