| You will still find many instances of this series sad. And whether that specific event works for you or not is something I can't know. I was spoiled as well and when I saw it I wasn't particularly impressed. I got a lot more in terms of emotions from events happening in previous and later episodes. |

| Just finished it today. I was also spoiled but for me it took nothing away from the story. The journey to that point, and after, is an amazing experience. I'd say watch it anyway! There are still plenty of sad things in the story besides that. |
