| Only seen 2 or 3 episodes of this classic but I gotta ask. does it get serious later? I see pics n shit on google images n shit looks dark at times but im hopin its not just sometimes coz the 1st few episodes seem mostly comedy. Im gonna watch it regardless but I need to know. |

| it gets serious once they start the war with Shishio and the OVAs are much more serious but they are just fillers and did not happen on the manga http://myanimelist.net/anime/44/Rurouni_Kenshin:_Meiji_Kenkaku_Romantan_-_Tsuiokuhen http://myanimelist.net/anime/401/Rurouni_Kenshin:_Meiji_Kenkaku_Romantan_-_Seisou_Hen from what i recall stop watching the anime around episode 64 because the later episodes are all fillers anyway |
