I would also like to add the names Marlon Brando, De Niro and Al Pacino to my list of names that I like xD I dont really weigh any word more than the other, but if I were to pick some of the words that I like from my very limited vocabulary it would be Enthusiasm It's one of the first long words I learnt of, when I was in like 1st grade or something, I felt like I was some scholar when I used enthusiasm in my sentences, then. It's nostalgic. Nostalgia A word that means so much, and can be expressed in many ways. The word has a certain feel to it, as well. Reminiscent I like it because it's pretty similar to nostalgic, but it's not exactly nostalgic or bring in the feelings along with it. Zenith I first learnt of it's meaning from a poem and my English teacher said what the poet meant by zenith was like a point in heaven. Which made me feel very intrigued, because I never thought there would be a word to express a point in an astronomy that could be used casually as well. Flamboyant It's a very stylish word, exactly like it's meaning. Picturesque A word that could create a world in our head. Instigate Something about it instigates me to think about it. It's a lot like initiate but it sounds a lot better. Fabulous The same reason why I like flamboyant. Intrigue Another word that I use quite often and something that intrigues me. There are a few others, but I just cant seem to remember them. Maybe I will one day be able to reminisce them, and feel nostalgic about this question which instigated me to think about flamboyant words, that are picturesque, which intrigued me even further to imagine the Zenith, that I imagine to be quite fabulous. But my curiosity will never allow that to happen, I would definitely read the book. I would read all the things that has happened to me so far and probably feel all nostalgic. I am not sure how I would feel about the things to come, because once I read it, I have a feeling that everything in that book would change. I am assuming it's a magical book that will write my entire life. If it's a book written by me in the future, I would think he would be in another timeline. Wait, but if he is in the same timeline, he has already read this book when he was me at this age and he probably tried everything to change everything in that book, and this is the end result of his tries. So what if I could do the same, will the book I send the past me when I reach that future self be this same exact book? that I think would probably something I will have to find out. I kind of wish I simply said no to this question, and not think too much into it. Especially in the northern borders, Himalayas were formed because India joined together with Asia.. so they wont be there. I believe Himalayas is like our greatest protection from attacks from the North, especially from Russia or China. But if that did not exist, and all our boundaries were exposed to the sea. I believe India would be completely different. It would probably end up becoming a continent like Australia. But it would be comprised of many small nations with their own language,traditions, and customs as well, much like Europe. All of the coastal countries would have a pretty strong navy, as they need it to protect themselves from attacks. Also, I think most of the northern countries would invade other countries and make colonies and such. India, as a part of Asia, has one great history of never invading any other countries, but that was mainly because of the Himalayas being a wall even to us, to go further of, and the southern states did not have enough navy power. But if India was an island, it would know all of the threat from the seas, and would all have a powerful navy and the Northern rulers being the kind of aggressive men they were, would probably attack and make colonies in all other places in the world. There would also be historic figures that would probably come very close to conquering all of India, and I think the Indian Empire would be strong enough to be the counterparts of the Roman Empire , during that time. This is an interesting topic. I could probably go on forever hypothesizing about how the history of the world and Asia would be completely different to that we know of now, if India were an island. It would change everything in my opinion. |

He's really slim and no one would think of calling him that with his personality I think if I had 2 girls , I would name them Mikasa and Makisu.. but I dont think my family or my wife whom I imagine to be against an adult watching anime ;_; would agree to that. Something simple like Hudha and Husna for my little daughters wouldnt be bad. | Well congrats on pulling off a successful inception on your dad lol. Yeah, I gave the being late thing just as an example. If you read that book "You Are Here" then he does a much better job of explaining it than I do. But in essence, is to be aware of everything that you are doing as you are doing it. Life becomes much more enjoyable that way. It enables you to really truly appreciate the present moment and what you are doing. If you are drinking a glass of orange juice, for example - a trivial action you would typically give no thought to. Drinking it mindfully however, you are aware that you are telling your arm to move towards the glass, telling your hand to grip it and bring it to your mouth. When you take a sip you are conscious of the fact that nutrients are entering your body - and not only that, to be mindful you can touch the true nature of what you are interacting with. The orange juice you are drinking originated in an orange that grew over time on a tree. That tree grew from a combination of the earth, the sun, and the clouds. It used all 3 for nutrients, soil to root, the sun for warmth and photosynthesis, and the clouds for rainwater. So the true nature of the orange juice contains all these parts, and as you consume it into your body, all of this becomes a part of you as well. Again, this is just an example - but see how much of a difference doing daily activities mindfully can make? It's a way of truly altering your perspective and touching life deeply at every moment. There are ~86,000 seconds in a day, and we waste most of them on unproductive and unregulated thought. Think of the difference you can make on your mind by being conscious of the thoughts your thinking - by molding your thoughts conscientiously instead of letting them run wild and unchecked. The average person has around 50,000 thoughts per day. If you let your mind travel in whatever direction it pleases, just reacting to every stimulus it encounters throughout the day instead of consciously responding to it - your mind will start to develop bad habits and negative tendencies that you are unaware of. If you focus on controlling those thoughts (at first this will be hard, since most of us have deep seeded habits of reaction) and shaping them MINDFULLY, then you begin to create positive habits and pathways in the brain. And once you do that, the world becomes a much more precious place and you consequently become much more deeply in tune with it. My Sir name is Lok (people used to call me Lulu like how Shirley calls Lelouch because Lok is pronounced as Lu in Chinese. Chinese names are usually in 3 characters, the first character would probably be the sir name (e.g,mine is Lok ) followed by the middle and last name. Since I am not that strong in Mandarin to give them the names with deep meanings and stuff.I'll just mention the English names I have in mind to put infront of their Chinese names (So it would become like this : [English name]-[Lok (sir name)]-[middle name]-[last name] I love the name Melody,I want my daughter to be a lover of music and Melody sounds nice, so I'll go with that. Daughter number two would be...hmm Lucy. Why?Because it also starts with an L and Lucy Lok sounds nice (to me at least ;_;) and also according to Wiki /google Lucy has the meaning as of light (born at dawn or daylight, maybe also shiny, or of light complexion XD ). I think your naming sense is not bad at all. In fact, it's really good! There's a backstory to how I got my name BTW.. since we are on the topic, I might as well share it.. My dad and mom went for a Malayalam movie called "Mani Chithra Thaazhu" , It's a cult classic about a husband and a wife coming to live in an old palace, and the wife getting possessed by a spirit of a dancer, who was killed in that palace by the King at that time , for falling in love with a servant to the King. It goes on to show that the wife actually was actually having psychotic episodes due to her tragic past .. well that and how she got influenced by the stories of this old dancer, she heard from a woman working in that palace. Anyway, my dad really liked that movie.. and when the credits rolled, the Director's name showed up.. and his name was Fazil. Then and there, he told my mom that my name would be Fazil, if I was a boy. Goes to show how my name came from a classic horror movie and I absolutely cant handle horror xD I feel like that story kind of makes me feel connected to the visual media as a whole, and the real beginning for my love for movies, TV series, and anime. ^^ Fazil means "the Learned or Professor" in Arabic btw. My brother is called Firoz which is a name of a rare gem and my younger brother is named after one of the names of our God. Abdul Fattah, it means Servant of God. Your name and your brothers sound epic. We found ourselves in a place where neither could be of use to us. I think the camp helped me out of my gloomy days a lot. I had a lot of fun. There was camp fire, dancing and all of us became really close. I even made a few friends of the opposite gender >_< We danced, we played around, we talked late nights about deep stuff, we got jumped by a wild elephant and we had to run up the steep mountain path like our life depended on it, late night card games, and also all the work we did in the villages as well as all the money we collected to help aid the tribal people living in the forests near the mountain. Those 7 days were unforgettable and I will always remember them as the days that brought life back to me.. After those days, I found myself smiling, laughing , and crying in earnest, and everything around me became a lot more positive. Definitely my favorite moment of 2014. |

Now you can imagine what I did earlier, I basically groped her and then pushed her away.. and I didnt even notice that I did that (._.) It was probably the weirdest thing I have ever done around a person, and also one of the most awkward moments in my life. I didnt know even know if I should apologize or act as if it never happened. It was a good thing that one of my friends were like really close with her, and he just changed the topic and I kind of just walked away. That's probably the weirdest thing I have done. All other weird stuff happens normally when I dance or get hyper. Another weird thing I did was when it got too hot in my room, I took off all my clothes.. and I was wearing only my brief's.. and I was like that for like 3-4 hours that I completely forgot about it. The doorbell rang, my mom asked me to go open it.. and being the kind of absent minded guy I am, I just went and opened it. Probably the biggest surprise the milk man has ever gotten xD The weird thing was he didnt say anything about it and gave me the bill and the milk. I just walked inside, and my mom was like O_O , did you just go out wearing just brief's and that's when I realized I was on my briefs xD Omg dude that's great haha xD I easily visualized the whole thing for both situations too (yes, even you in your briefs) which makes things even more funnier. Well, both of those are definitely weird stories so thanks for delivering it I guess haha. :P But really, that grope and push though... That's just amazing in its own way especially since you did it unintentionally. |
| OH - totally forgot. Well you can try meditating before or after. Personally I like to meditate after I work out because I feel good that I exercised, my muscles are tired, I'm usually calm from exerting energy, etc. Also, I usually eat something/drink a protein shake after I work out and before I meditate. This way I can try to think about and feel the nutrients replenishing the muscles I just broke down (who knows maybe it helps speed muscle recovery). And after you work out you have a heightened awareness of your body (bc some areas are sore, exhausted, etc). But meditating before you work out, if you don't mind being calm and lifting weights, can give you a better workout. If you relax your body while working out, then your muscles will be loose when you go to stretch (which is why people meditate before yoga) and it will feel great. Also, that calmness and focus helps you target the muscle groups each exercise is meant for. When you bench, you'll be more focused on your pectoral muscles lifting and controlling the weight (instead of maybe heaving to just try to get the rep). I personally have a tough time hitting my back, because when I do back exercises i tend to lose focus and just go through the motions to get the reps out. But if you meditate before hand and focus on only lifting with the proper muscles and CONTROLLING the weight (even if that means going lighter) - you hit the correct muscles, you hit them better and more efficiently, and you decrease your risk of injury. So try both. Ideally, once you get more practice at meditating, meditate beforehand, stretch well, work out (mindfully! with concentration lol), eat something/drink a protein shake right away when you're done to replenish your muscles, make a cup of tea perhaps, sit down in a quiet room and meditate again focusing on recovery. It's weird that the book is $20 on amazon, I bought a few copies from $7-12. And I'm going to get to that question you asked on my HST - its just gonna take a while and I'm doing some projects for school right now (taking a 5 minute break currently lol) Edit: I guess I'll ask a question in the meantime. I feel like I am explaining how I wanted to be raised ._. But this is all I can think of. In education, may it be a boy or a girl, I will give them the best education they can get. I will also help them be educated in the matters of life, finding happiness, and finding passions.. I will encourage them to do what they want to do as long as it's nothing illegal or immoral. I will probably make them watch one piece with me.. you know for.. educational purposes >_< How will my family be a happy one? You are talking about my family right now or my family in the future? Either way, as the people pleaser I am.. I have a really hard time saying NO to people I will probably be the one who will try his best to make everyone happy in the family. Of course there needs to be love between the family as well as knowing each other. I feel like in this modern world, we are living with strangers than family. We dont talk about anything other than ourselves to them and we dont try to find out more about them. Be it your parents or your brothers. We are too much connected to the world through our friends and the social media, that we forget about the people that are closest to us. I think I got a huge ..what do you call it.. a smack on my head, when that thing happened in my life. It made me change to someone who never bothered to find more about my own family to someone who wanted to know more about them.. I dont want people to realize such things after only such huge negative events occuring in their life. I would try my best, that's all I can do to make everyone know each other and make them truly happy to be a family. I am not sure what I am trying to say, because I am having a hard time trying to find the right words ._. How about you? I wouldn't be like sticking & nagging all the time but okay it's a child. I shall teach them how to know the right from the wrong instead of letting them learn everything by themselves. I shall also work on improving their self-confidence & such, & learn them to love & to be tolerant. But pride is also very important ~ I should also teach them to not mind crowds, to look for their happiness no matter how far it is. About family's happiness well, probably by making lots of delicious dishes, freeing some time for them & listening to their everyday problems & such. I should also praise them whenever they do right from the wrong. But about making a husband happy, sorry, I have no idea ^-^. Goodbye^^ I am listening to the songs you have listed as I am writing this answer. Do I consider myself a good person? Honestly, I don't. If I look at myself, my mindset, my imaginations and my deeds objectively and very severely. Then I am definitely not a good person. Well, atleast not a person I define as "good" anyway. First, my imagination is a lot like how I portray myself and my alterego. I often think of situations where I would be a hero who saves people from disasters. Like when I was at the railway station and I saw a couple of people crossing through the railway tracks instead of using the overbridge, I imagined the train to come on those rails, and I miraculously somehow rescue them from the collision. I often think about such bad situations when I am somewhere, and I think about how I can save people from such a situation. I am in my own world imagining imaginary disasters and imagining how I would save the people from the disaster. Some of the disasters happened and somehow because of how I think about it a lot, I ended up becoming one of the first person to react to it. It was a purse robbery in my neighborhood, and I almost caught the running thief too but he threw away the purse to escape. The same way, I also have an imagination where I kill people, torture them or even throw them under the bus, if they irritate me. Like how some people took over a reserved seats on the train I was riding today, and they just wouldnt move for the actual people who reserved it. I imagined myself throwing them under the train. o_o I also gets random rage imagination with certain people, where I just kill them off in my head for no reason whatsoever. These kind of imaginations make me judge myself to not have a good person's imagination at all. I am always thinking about negative things happening first, and the second thought would either be how to make it a positive one or how to make it even more negative, and it's more often the latter. I do see only the good in the people I meet though. I always look at the good sides of people, I think I am a bit bad at gauging what a person is like, especially those who have a hidden agenda or try to take advantage of me or other people. I always think whatever the people I meet do or say as always a good thing. I also sometimes even go as much as believing them blindly. Only when other people point out that whatever someone has said to me was false or that someone was actually taking advantage of me, would I actually realize it. I think this part of my personality is of someone who can be defined as a good person, but I would only define him as a fool for being so bad at understanding people's intentions. A good person will always know the difference between those who do good and those who do bad. In my case, I think everything is good rather than differentiating the bad ones from the good. My deed? I lie to people I love, sometimes to comfort them or sometimes it's just a plain lie, which I would regret later on. I have tried to solve this problem of mine, and now I dont do it anymore, but I have not confessed to any of my old lies, so it still does not make me a completely good person. I hurt people around me a lot, especially because of how much of a distant person I am on , feelings and emotions. I can express them both well, but I do not understand other people's feelings or emotions, until I am either told about it direct by the said person or by someone later. I dont even realize that I have hurt someone so much that they cried for many days thinking on it. I dont understand other people's pain well either, I know mine , but I cant gauge how much pain other people feel when I hit them or when I pat them on the back even, I think it's because I dont know my own power to be honest, many of my friends have cried because of some of my friendly pats, and I only realized it was painful for them after I saw them cry, Same with when I get into fights, I am cold blooded, which means that I dont get angry at all about anything.. even if someone hits me hard that I feel a lot of pain, what I do is just repay them with the same pain, and often it ends up feel way more painful that I actually felt they pained me. I dont know if you get what I mean on these topics because I have a hard time explaining it, especially because I am interpreting many of my different experiences into something general. I bluntly tell people about how I think of them sometimes. This is not the same as seeing good things in people, I mean those people whom I realize to be someone who took advantage of me or used me for their own sakes. And a lot of times these realizations were wrongly judged, and I made them cut ties with me completely over something they did not intend to do from the beginning. I am often jealous and envious of people. I sometimes even find happiness in someone else' suffering. These kind of thoughts, mindsets, personality traits, and imaginations makes me consider myself as not a good person. That doesn't mean that I consider myself as a bad person either btw. I consider myself someone who has his fair share of strengths and weaknesses. I try to strengthen my weaaknesses as time goes and I am trying my best to reach a position where I could truly consider myself as someone more good than not, though. Right now, I am probably in the middle of the good/bad scale. I am sorry if you did not understand any of it because of how badly I have generalized my experiences. I hope you understood some of it, at least though. How about you? |

To be honest, I was not expecting something this long and I appreciate it. I think most of your thoughts are natural, we all have them. And I understand what you're saying. You expressed yourself in an apprehensible way, even though you think you didn't. Well, I don't see myself as a good person, but I don't think I'm a bad one too. Maybe I don't kill people in my mind or dream about bad situations but I think there are times I hurt those around me a lot. Usually with my carelessness. At times, I don't get how they're feeling towards me, how much they care and I end up hurting them by doing or saying something. I regret it later though, and if I have the chance I apologize. Since I forgive people easily, I expect them to do the same but this rarely works out. I often miss some people I pushed away from myself too. I think that's selfish. Last year was like a hell for me, with so many mood swings and so much to be sad for, I decided to turn over a new leaf - I don't think about the bad deeds and try to focus on good ones and keep myself away from bad situations. As long as you're alive there's always a chance to change things and be a good person, I think. I won't write a detailed answer for your question, because it's your own thread and if I keep going I feel I'm gonna get into personal stuff, so.. :D Thanks for your reply^^ Which one do you prefer: sunrise or sunset? |
