Day 13 Day 14 Game End Standoff -a popcorn mafia game- So what makes a popcorn mafia game different from a regular mafia game? It is a nightless game. Regardless of being nightless it still has an active mafia. However, in this game there is no voting for who gets lynched the only one who gets to choose is the gun bearer. What are the roles in this kind of game? In this game, roles are simple. The game comprises of 11 vanilla townies, 4 mafia goons, and 3 vengeful mafia. What is the game flow? -After all the roles are distributed the mafia will choose the first gun bearer. -The gun bearer will Always be a townie. By having the gun they are confirmed -It is up to the gun bearer with support from everyone playing to choose who to shoot with the gun. The phases will be 72 hours, or until the gun is shot. Shooting the gun ends the phase. -After the gun has been shot. The result affects what happens next. If the gun bearer shoots another townie, the gun bearer dies and that townie becomes the new gun bearer. Example: If I am the gun bearer and I shoot Grave and Grave is also townie. I would die and Grave would become the new gun bearer. If the person shot is a mafia goon. Then the mafia goon dies and the gunbearer can keep the gun. If the gun bearer shoots a vengeful mafia then both the gunbearer and the vengeful mafia die. The mafia then will choose a new townie to have the gun. What should the townies do if they do not have the gun? Your role did not become less important because you do not have the gun. In fact it might be more important. The town needs to keep as many townies alive as possible. So you must hunt together. The gunbearer might make shortlists of people he wants everyone to comment on. If the town decides on a voting system, I will keep track of votes. The town might make cases against each other. This is like being abandoned on an island, in the middle of a storm, and trying to figure out who the killers are before you die. So, it’s a standoff. Last General Clarifications - If the gunbearer does not shoot in 72 hours, they will die and the mafia will choose a new gunbearer. - For sake of rule clarification purposes down the line, playing poorly on purpose in order to get shot and have the gun does not count as playing against your win condition. [/list] Win Conditions Town wins when they remove all mafia or when it is 1 vs 1 with mafia. (If it is Vengeful, it's a draw) Mafia wins when they remove all town or when the last living town player is gun-bearer (Mafia must outrun town strength) Its like a Fire Emblem game, you only win when there are no opponents standing against you or, If the number of townies falls below the number of vengeful mafia the mafia wins, since you would no longer be able to defeat them. General Mafia game rules - Unlike the Death Note game, this is a mafia game, and no external communication is allowed - If you have a question about the game set up or the rules as the game goes, post it on the topic. @Suzune, or @host, would work fine - Debating is allowed and encouraged because the town has to come together to decide on who the gunbearer will shoot. So the flavor of this game only goes to show that too much Virtues Last Reward and The Lost Dimension is bad for you. I could hear the personality switches of Zero going around and around in my head. I thought, I could use that as flavor. It looks way less pretty then it sounds since one cannot read different voices. So please feel free to read. Lessons learned: Do not start the game during your insomnia. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Day 1 Good evening, evening evening everyone! Now, some of you might be wondering, “What am I doing in a room with seventeen other people?” I say somebecause, because, It is not totally surprising to everyone. This room is divided into two groups of people. The heroes, oh, can’t you just sense their justice… and the villains. heh, heh, heh In this game, the villains can talk all day long. Nice long scheming conversations,I’m sure…So, You might be thinking….Seems unfair So to act as a counterbalance. The villains get no kills in this game. The smoking gun, will always be in the hands of a hero. Naturally, that’s where the fun begins. Only the townie holding the gun, can take a shot. Just one, simple, dangerous shot. Oh, I get excited just thinking about it. So here’s how it goes. The hero takes the shot and we are looking at one of three possible scenarios In the first scenario. The hero shoots a villain. We call this… The justice has prevailed, outcome And the townie gets to keep the gun. Because honestly, when you are that successful you have to keep the gun. in the Second scenario: The hero shoots a vengeful villain. We call this The double knockout, outcome. It’s one of those rare times. When evil gets the last laugh. If this happens. The villains choose a new hero to shoot the gun. In the final scenario: A hero shoots another hero. We call this…. You’d shoot a friend outcome. In this case, the gun backfires. The shooter dies and the one that was their target gets the gun. I mean, why shouldn’t they, their best friend just tried to shoot them… And, the game keeps going this way. Back and forth, until the end. So it is with great pleasure. [u]I announce MaiTai as the first gun bearer.[/u] You are on your own. There are some town tips in the first post if you are lost. Day ends when 72 hours have passed, or The gun gets fired. When I say other people i mean Controversy, randomly used his day shot on day 2 on the person who voted him just to find out he shot town (This was During Sorens Greatest Idea Mafia). |

| Despite not having a lynching system and that the gun bearer has the the ultimate say for who they want to shoot. I think it is a good idea to still place pseudo votes to keep track of who wants who to get shot. We can also do vca. Oh and if you're against this you're scum. Vote Hime |

In the Touhou game, she was also very upset when I pressured her - she was town in that game though. |
