| The chances of this ending shonen ai are very slim but I think it will end hinted in that direction with no other pairings. I think if Kishimoto pairs Naruto up with a girl it will ruin everything he has portrayed about the story. This is a shonen manga and anime which means it is directed to a male audience ending it shonen ai would be a bit risky as most guys are against it and see their relationship as a brotherhood thing. Sad guys are like that but not much you can do sadly. I think Kishimoto likes pushing the envelope but I don't think he would have them make a love confession or serious kiss. I do think they are connected and could even fuse as one but there is also a good chance they could both die. I do not see this having a happy ending. |
