Toaru Series Order

I wanna watch this series. But, I don't know where to start. Some says index first but some of them also says railgun first, and now, I'm confuse. What should I watch first? What will be the pros and cons?

Start with Railgun.

The first episode of Index tries to introduce too many concepts to the audience at once, while the first episode of Railgun does not. Railgun introduces the audience to the world of Raildex in a much more gentle way.

The first arc of Railgun is also better than the first arc of Index. Railgun is also just a better show than Index. Railgun is also designed to appeal to a more diverse range of fans than Index is.

Additionally, the plot of Railgun chronologically begins before the plot of Index.

Finally, there is one specific arc that occurs in both Railgun and Index but is covered in a much better way in Railgun. If you watch the Index version of that arc first, it will sort of ruin your experience of the arc. You'll know which arc I am talking about when you watch it.
