Adore her. She reminds me so much of Sanya from Strike Witches.

You're absolutely right.

I need to put a spoiler warning and tag use request in the main information.

ukonkivi | Apr 8, 2010 4:03 AM
I didn't especially go reading through comments. I glanced through the club page and saw it. And that a person reading spoilers chooses to read them doesn't lessen their being problematic. There are threads in the anime discussion where spoilers go without spoiler tag, and the person does "choose" to open the thread and see the spoiler, but it's not their fault they upon it.

Groups should be as safe from spoilers as the anime discussion section. It's not like people shouldn't be able to discuss spoilers in a club discussion, that would leave for less to talk about. But spoiler tags aren't that hard to use.

The reason people do do this, is because it's surprisingly easy to glance upon a spoiler.

Halofarm | Apr 8, 2010 3:34 AM
No-one told you to read the comments. You read them of your own free will.

ukonkivi | Apr 8, 2010 12:45 AM
Yeah, thanks y'all for screwing my whole experience by not knowing how to use spoiler tags. God, why did this have to happen one of the few times I gave into the stupid temptation to do something stupid and join a group for a finished show before I actually finished it?

ukonkivi | Apr 8, 2010 12:20 AM
I knew I shouldn't have joined any clubs before finishing the show.:/ You spoiled it for me.

Halofarm | Mar 30, 2010 3:32 AM
I agree. I didn't see any genre switch personally. The war played a very large part in the anime. It just didn't play a direct part a lot of the time.

As for Noel being forgiven for genocide. I'm pretty sure that might be because she was manipulated into doing it when she was too innocent to understand what was really going on and that she clearly felt it weigh on her shoulders on the day she saw what she had really done. Her innocence was stolen.

TheWanderingEye | Mar 30, 2010 12:24 AM
Forgive me, but Slice of Life does not entail being removed from the conflict around them - the conflict was framed from the very beginning (armistice, military service, etc.). On the contrary, works under slice of life are full of drama - just look at "Of Mice and Men".

Asunyan | Mar 30, 2010 12:17 AM
my only gripe about the series is that they switched between genres during the anime-it didnt flow-if they had stuck to either just drama or just slice of life i would have enjoyed it a lot more.

TheWanderingEye | Mar 29, 2010 11:32 PM
I was just joking. Though in given frame of time it was really quick - my only gripe about the series.

For the record, I'd forgive her for just about anything for one afternoon.

Asunyan | Mar 29, 2010 9:00 PM
The reason she was forgiven wasnt because they hung out but rather because she regretted having done it very much and was also sorry for having done it.

TheWanderingEye | Mar 29, 2010 8:34 PM
Hanging out for an afternoon was enough for Noel to be forgiven of genocide.
Wait...
