I just saw the movie...it was horrible. I almost stopped watching it twice but decided to just go ahead and finish. No way does it ever compare to the anime series. I expected too much as far as the movie. I was under the impression we would see a continuation of sorts as when the anime ended with Flute reflecting on having sealed Ha-chan in the box. Too bad for me, i was very disappointed.

I enjoyed this series very much. How anyone could say it is bad is beyond me. The story was a noble one...a quest, a love beyond what one would expect. The music was just beautiful and the characters were all good. Now, granted one has to consider the time in which this anime first appeared, if you are the type of anime watcher that has to have it look pretty. If that be the case, you will not find that here...but what you will find is a wonderful story well told, with beautiful music and characters, a love that is pure and a noble demon despite it all...I loved it...and may re-watch it again in the future...^^)

Just watched the anime. It wasn't really good - in fact, it was rather bad - but there was a lot of splendid ideas. With just a few changes it could be a really great anime. And that's a good enough reason to be a fan of this series.

hated the manga, couldnt get through it. The artstyle was just too...uhg -shudder-

Loved the anime though, even if it was lowbudget. The movie had its funny moments as well.

The anime is not that bad IMO
