A lot of characters with unrequited love pull at out heartstrings, especially when they deserved so much more.
Most often seen in harem and childhood friend archetypes, these sweet characters deserve the love they never got.
I'm not an anime expert and I haven't seen everything. So if you know a character who fits the requirements, please comment and I will add them asap.
For a character to qualify they need:
*Try to avoid *typical* harem anime because usually many girls have feeling with MC and he never ends up with just one.*
-to have feelings for another character who doesn't love them the same way
-and to not end up with the person they have feelings for in the end
-they can be male or female
-they can be romantically involved with a character in the end, just not the person they had unrequited love for
-they can have dated or been with the person they love, as long as that person doesn't have feeling for them any longer by the end.
