Game Theory Genre

This newly coined genre (By Psychic Dragon) encompasses a battle between minds, somewhat like a puzzle or a mind game where often a times manipulation is common,something that forces the viewer to think. In other words "Thought Provoking". This may include complex games like those from GAMBLE FISH or one with manipulation like ONE OUTS. Some prominent examples include DEATHNOTE, CODE GEASS, ALDANOAH ZERO, NO GAME NO LIFE, ONE OUTS e.t.c. Not to be confused with the genre Psychological which, contrary to common belief, has little or nothing to do with a battle between minds. Rather only defines a genre in which the character personality is well defined and looked at in depth. If an anime is tagged with a psychological theme you can expect characters to have emotional, mental, or behavioral issues. This can include things like depression, split personalities, or anything that is associated with "the mind" and how it effects the way we behave. If this new genre were to be forcefully fit in the the list of categories of old genres, then it would be mystery thriller.......and a hint of psychological with a dash of manipulation. The goal of this club is to compile all content under this genre and to spread awareness regarding this New Genre.We will be voting and collecting the qualifying anime/manga. Any one can suggest an anime for the genre. In essence, we will be passing judgement on anime.
