Yaoi has two different definitions.
1. Yaoi is a term for female-oriented fictional media that focuses on homoerotic or homoromantic male sexual relationships, usually created by female authors.

2. Yaoi is an umbrella term that is many times used by Yaoi fans for anything that involves male/male love/lust. Usually when this term is used it is for any manga, anime, live-action films/series, games, fan art, which involves love between two or more men.
