The game was previously titled both Heroes and HERO'S.[2] The game is not a sequel to Suda's earlier game, Killer7, but an all-new game running on a new engine. Though the two games have stylistic similarities, Suda has said that while Killer7 focused on political issues, No More Heroes will focus on social ones. Whoa, wikipedia says that NMH2 seriously just came out like, last week (october 21st) in Japan. Wow is that a delay,, that game was out in January in the US! What was he waiting for in Japan, the NMH:Paradise to be out or something too? That's a bizarre delay by any standards, and I thought the DS coming out in America 1 week early to Japan was strange.

Check out GHM on Facebook!! http://www.facebook.com/notes.php?id=108889785816901#!/pages/Grasshopper-Manufacture-Inc/108889785816901

You have no idea how awesome it is to receive an email entitled, "Goichi Suda has confirmed you as a friend on Facebook".

Here's a very revealing interview with Suda himself, sure to be of interest to anyone curious about the man behind the madness: http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=244963

I'm surprised - and actually somewhat pleased - to hear that he'd be interested in directing an anime. Personally, I feel that Killer7 should've been an OVA rather than a video game. If he ever does get a chance to work on an anime series, I will definitely watch/buy.

I'm so lucky just got the last copy of NMH 2 on EB, gonna start playing this after I beat TvC.

FSR is so crazy it's almost unplayable. Really badly designed gameplay. It's still so mysterious and interesting though that I may go back to it one day.

Ni_Go_Zero_Ichi | Dec 27, 2009 7:31 PM
I honestly haven't played either of those. The only Suda games I've actually played are NMH and Killer7, but I want to try the others too. You can get FSR at Gamestop for just $20 now, so that might be worth checking out, though from what I've heard it's incredibly dull and monotonous as a game - its only value being its artistic merits.

^lol, sorry, you're right. We'll just talk about actually awesome games.

Oh, general question, I've still got tons of b-day/xmas money left over and since a gift card will be covering NMH2, want to ask how Flowers, Sun, and Rain is. I've already got Contact DS and Killer7 (and NMH1), curious if F,S,& R is worth it. Wikipedia says he was involved with the PS2 Samurai Champloo game, that any good?
