Versailles (known as Versailles -Philharmonic Quintet- in the United States) is a Japanese metal band formed in 2007. It is composed of several notable figures in the visual kei scene. Versailles' key characteristics are their renaissance-esque costumes, dueling guitar sounds and heavy but melodic arrangements.

I'm planning on affiliating all the J-rock clubs together and to make a general J-rock club where we can all hang out. But in order for this to be successful we need everyone's help!

A J-rock club would be funnier, indeed. We could discuss tastes, discover new bands and have lots of graphics and pictures. We could have topics listing Visual Kei, Oshare Kei and so on. *-*

We should affiliate all the existing clubs, I made a Galneryus club a while back and we only have 16 members :P

There's a Deluhi club that's also not that alive, and a MUCC club that isn't doing so well.

If people are willing I can make a new Versailles club and if I get 2 or 3 officers to help out we could go through the member list and invite everyone to the new club.

Or we can just make a general J-rock club (not J-pop though, that can be a different club) and have everyone gather there. Who's with me?

Yeah... And it would be quite annoying to advertise the "revival" without being able to send mass messages... I thought about creating a new, active club, but I dunno if it would work ~

Unfortunately, most j-rock clubs on MAL are dead :(

Yeah, the creator apparently left MAL, and the officer hasn't been around since '09. That's a shame. Versailles needs its share of love on MAL. :/ Shall we do something about that?
