GaixLee, Because Love Is All That Really Matters

I know that some of you may be asking “Why GaiLee? Why is it that their relationship can be seen as so much more than that of a teacher and student?” Well, fans of the pairing will tell you that the idea is not as far-fetched as some would believe. Allow me to give you a few simple points for this adorable pairing! <span style="font-size: 120%;"><strong>1)</strong><!--size--></span> In episode 100, Lee blushes eleven times while in Gai-sensei's presence <span style="font-size: 120%;"><strong>2)</strong><!--size--></span> In episode 100, when Lee first joins Gai's team, Gai's first though can be translated as, "He has nice eyes." <span style="font-size: 120%;"><strong>3)</strong><!--size--></span> Gai constantly refers to Lee as “cute, adorable, precious, est. est.." <span style="font-size: 120%;"><strong>4)</strong><!--size--></span> When they hug, they close their eyes. <span style="font-size: 120%;"><strong>5)</strong><!--size--></span> They are willing to die for each other, so much so that Gai promises to kill himself if Lee's surgery fails and he dies. <span style="font-size: 120%;"><strong>6)</strong><!--size--></span> I don't think there is a closer relationship in the entire series. <span style="font-size: 120%;"><strong>7)</strong><!--size--></span> In the series, Gai and Lee have their own love song on the 3rd OST (in fact, it's song number 9, that called"Oh! In shudo, a master samurai would take on a young, beautiful boy as his student and that boy would be his lover for many years.
