i love YYH and hxh because of both story that Togashi write

I think YYH is a really great series. While being a very typical action manga/anime, it's got great characters, a more serious side to it and then there's that something I can't quite describe that makes it stand out amongst other, similar series.

However, I like Hunter x Hunter more. Winning the battle is almost never a question of strength, but strategy. There's also the complex but interesting Nen system and the psychological side to the story that Togashi has taken to higher level than he did in YYH. For instance, Kurapika's revenge on the Spiders was one of the most brilliantly concieved plans I've ever seen in manga, especially in a shounen manga.

Well, both of them are great series! It's just to start watching YuYu.

Of course, it is slow in the beginning like HxH, but it gets better after a while. I like the Chapter Black Saga the most, because of the psychological drama (that's what I would call it at least).
Try watching it :P

A friend recomended me to watch HxH but I was iffy thinking it would be too shounen for me and just be about constant fighting (is a girl). But it balances action and humour in just the right fashion and the characters are so deep. Once I finish watching the 3rd ova (am saving the manga for now), I'm going to start watching YYH because something tells me i'l feel the same way after watching that.

Yh i guess but i just wish he would stop being so damn lazy :(
I love the first hxh and the yu yu hakusho openings altho i do listen to a lot of anime music, well i guess i listen to music a lot in general i suppose :D altho even i wouldnt listen to music from just hxh and yu yu hakusho for two hours straight :P Wat other music do u listen to then?
btw we apparantely have an amazingly high anime compability of 96.7%, nice :D

Well, that hiatus phenomenon is called Togashi-ism for a reason right?
Btw, I've listened to Yu Yu Hakusho music and the openings from Hunter x Hunter today, for at least two hours. I think I'm going to go insane if I listen to it anymore... but then again, going insane because of music isn't the worst crime committed. (And just so you know; I do listen to other things as well, I'm not 100% super-nerdy. 99 % will do.) XD
