There is a vast majority of animelist users who post anime characters as a profile picture. There's certainly nothing wrong with that either! But this club is for people who prefer to use real pictures of themselves and to see real pictures of other users as well! I personally think that it's nice to know exactly who you're talking to! I feel more of a connection to friends that way!

I didn't see the anime if you recommend it then I'll probably watch it but still having a "role model" in my room in the middle of the night wouldn't make that much of a difference it's still spooky :)
