Asahi KougaAt 17 years old, Asahi has already graduated a 3-year program at a prestigious bodyguard school in only one year, and also got a teaching post there. Her achievements draw the interest of the Kisaragi group, and she ends up working as a bodyguard for the son of the Kisaragi family, Sakuya. Up to that point, Asahi lived at the "Nekomata" bar with her uncle and several others; together, they formed an unauthorized vigilante group that protected the residents of the area from crime.Asahi's mother, Maria, is still alive, but does not remember her daughter as a result of suffering a traumatic brain injury 14 years prior.
