Ran Nikaidou (二階堂 蘭)The chairman of Dankaisan's student council, and the only son of a police superintendent, Ran was initially displeased at Akira's pursuit of Mizuki. However, he seems to have developed feelings for Mizuki, and tries to hide it under the pretext of obtaining another "princess", the first "princess" being Akira.
