How I Review Anything from Anime to Manga, From Manhwa to Manhua, Wuxia, Webtoons, LN, Cartoons, Comic Books, Movies, Television, Korean Drama's, Asian Drama's, Hentai, Porn to Fan-fiction and Music etc.

There are 2 pretty simple steps:
(1)Identify
(2)Rate.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IDENTIFYING TYPES OF SERIES:

First, identify what type of series you're getting into. There are 5 types of series you need to know.

TYPE A: The "More Than Meets The Eye" type. The type of series where its actually much more than it claims to be, its not just a simple comedy film with nudity but a film questioning the definition of morality and its view on forbidden love such as incest, adultery & statutory rape etc. The type of series that really gets to you & has you thinking about things. Lion King isn't a simple lion story and Titanic isn't a simple boat story, its much more than that.

TYPE B: The "It is what it is" type. The type of series where you take it for what it is, plain & simple no need for the complicated stuff. The series knowns its a duck so it behaves like a duck.
You mostly watch porn & hentai to get off not to increase your awareness of society's true horrible nature or to get all philosophical & stuff, you watch it to get off. You watch comedy to laugh and horror to get scared. Some series are made to be simple and straight to the point so don't take it too seriously and enjoy. Marvel movies are nearly all TYPE B movies, Its Badass, Comic Book action & Comedy movies. Plain & Simple and its one the best movies in a long time.
Note: Though its a simple concept some movies/series will still fail to execute this simple concept and ends up as dog shit. *Cough* Transformers & Twilight * Cough*

TYPE C: The "Trying Too Hard To Be Something But Failing" type. Twilight.

TYPE D: The "Lets Make Crap And Sell It" type. Dragon Ball Evolution & The Last Airbender.

TYPE E: The "How Much More Money Can We Make From This Crap" type. Transformers 2, 3 & 4.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
RATINGS:

Identifying a series makes it easier to Rate the series.

TYPES C,D & E are likely to be 2-4/10 or dog shit series.
TYPE B's are 5/10 - 10/10 *Up to you.

TYPE A's are automatically 6/10 and to raise the rating, the series must do really well in 2 of the 4 categories below.
*This can be applied to TYPE B's as well.

Story: The script needs to show me a hint of everything but a glimpse of nothing and an endless world of possibility and potential. Pacing needs to fit the story also. Examples would be D. Gray Man or Hunter × Hunter. These series shows us a bit but still hide a lot for us to discover and yet still have the potential to expand even further. The scripts course of action needs to be logical or understandable and NOT Fan service based or altered to target a specific audience. Example Naruto's last 2 arc and sequel.

Characters: The characters need to do the job they were designed to do and if possible more but nothing outside of their design. What I mean by this is that every character follows the path specifically created for them. Example of this would be Duke Togo. His character was once a normal, caring human but an incident made him change & now he's an Assassin with no morals and everything is just work to him. He won't save a girl from being raped unless it was a job because that's his character design. (I can explain further if you require.)
The characters action and reaction needs to be logical or understandable and NOT Fan service.

Originality: Simply put a story with original plot, characters, settings etc.
Example of this would be Sharknado lol.

Uniqueness: When the story/character easily stands out from the rest and is so different and has its own identity that you remember it with ease and would even use this series as a measuring tool for your own experience. Example of this would be Heath Ledgers Joker, I use this to measure not just comic book villain performances but villains and criminal from all movies in general.

*Romance: I don't really read for romance but if its there then it better be done properly with the right characters, setting, logic, known & unknown variables accounted for and chemistry.

*For Anime/TV/Movies the Soundtracks, Animation, Cinematography and Casting categories can be added if you wish for a more precise review.

Why do I Identify then Rate you ask? Because you can't compare a serious movie like 'Whiplash' and a non serious movie like 'Sharknado' simply on ratings. I give Sharknado a 8/10 because I can always watch it and still laugh out loud and I give Whiplash a 8/10 because the psychological & the personal elements in this movie is so incredible and absolutely fantastic and so intense that it leaves a long lasting impression. Does this mean Sharknado is as good as Whiplash? No, because its 2 different types of movies one is serious & the other isn't. That's why I always Identify what the product is then Rate.

Yeah, this is essentially how I review anything and if you're here because you don't understand how I rated a series the way I did then this should help you.
(I'll go more in detail later, right now I'm too lazy lol.)

Remember this isn't right or wrong, its my take on things.
