Parents giving life
Schools building a mountain full of knowledge
Friends extending happiness
Love providing the sweet sugar-coated gift
And the pain of knowing life is full of lies
The torment of false accusations
Seeing that no one listens
Trusting what you can't
Feeling dark and lonely
Misplaced or part of the evil
Breaking, realeasing pent up anger
Thnking and evaluating the issues
Neon lights shoot up from the back of my thoughts
A sign reading ESCAPE
My mind, my heart, my life covered in tangled, sticky, cobwebs
Thinking about The Escape
Bottled questions collaborate
Filling up the empty void
Opening up the possibility to the unknown
Beckoning never to hurt, never to cry
Who would care?
What would happen?
Where does this void lead to?
Baby steps towards the abyss
The cuts, the scars, the searing pain
Bottling up this pain, these thoughts, this possible escape, and the want of it
Sealed shut, but not tightly
Broken and bruised, seeping out bit by bit

We cry when we've fallen and hurt ourselves
We cry when we're punished for the mistakes we learn from
We feel scared when our family might have to part
We cry when people change and become violent
We cry when harsh words are spoken and actions hurt
We cry when a loved one passes on
We cry because a friend thought they didn't have anything left in the world
We cry when a relationship goes horribly wrong
We cry when we're happy
We cry when we laugh
We cry when we're frustrated
We cry when we're depressed
We cry because our children grow
We cry because we're growing older
And sometimes we cry when we die
Whether we're happy or sad
A lifetime full of tears

I take a path
Strained, slowly doing it
I cross the finish line

You strike me
You push me away
Harsh words exchanged
It wasn't done right

Stung and numb
Drop of the mood, my triumph
Your words echoing, bouncing around my head
Tasks done, not done right, repeatedly

Pick myself up
Sigh of exhaustion
Returning to tasks
Returning to life

Comfort in friends
A rising question
Focus and intent on my answer
Wrong answer

Again, pushing me away
Driving nails into my skull
The pressure of being perfect
Soul exhaustion, the draining

I broke you with one simple line
Your splatters, my stains
Cold envelope the sense of loss
The hard spoken gestures, the glares

My thoughts, my feelings
My actions, my knowledge
Wiped out, non-existent, gone
My failures to you

Soft enveloping warmth
Tender and light
Cradling close
Lips searching, ravenously
Found and smothered
Friction through touch
Slipping off, holding close
Gripping hard
Soft whispers
Grazing smoothly over lines
Rush of excitement
Devouring
Adrenaline pumping
The shock, heat pressed up against
The pleasure, the waiting
Bubbling up, wanting
Cool relief sweeping overhead
Downy depression
Relaxation overcomes
Brushing softly over curves
Lovingly tender

Falling away
Silent piercing
Throbbing
Splatter across my hands
Deep, black and sticky
Pressure building
My hands, dripping covered in blood
The collapse
Pulsing heavily
The mixture
Releasing relief
Slow lift
Soft hush

Asfixiante

Cielo claro, lleno con más estrellas

Suavo canto de ranas
El mundo como debería ser
