As an continuation to my Top 10 OPs -post, here's my favorite EDs. What I said in OP-post holds true in here too: it's one hard fucking job to narrow them down to 10 and I'll propably miss something that should be in here. Well, that's my problem so here we go.

10.

Anime: Steins;Gate
Song: Toki Tsukasadoru Juuni no Meiyaku
Artist: Yui Sakakibara

When it comes down to music this might even be my favorite ED. Song is really powerful and when it starts playing after cliffhanger ending I always went like "FUCK YEAH!". But I rank these as entirety and animation-wise this is boring. So sorry S;G, very good try, though.

9.

Anime: Clannad
Song: Dango Daikazoku
Artist: Chata

Touching and cute. :3 Fitted perfectly to the series and it was pity that they replaced it to much worse in the After Story. I remember when I was shedding tears at the end of the Fuko arc and especially when this started to play. ;__;

8.

Anime: Ginga Nagareboshi Gin
Song: Tomorrow
Artist: Takayuki Miyauchi

Ah, the nostalgy. I like the song and the animation beautifully in such a short time shows the friendship between Gin and Daisuke. I start to miss my own dogs! I admit that nostalgy-factor rises this to the list but so what, it's close to my heart. <3

7.

Anime: K-On! & K-On!!
Song: Don't say 'lazy & NO,Thank You!
Artist: Houkago Tea Time (Aki Toyosaki, Yoko Hisaka, Satomi Satou and Minako Kotobuki)

I put both up since I couldn't decide which one is better. Great J-Pop songs and surprisingly stylish animation. And cute girls of course.

6.

Anime: Bartender
Song: *~Hajimari no Hito
Artist: Natural High

Really elegant and unique. I like the song too, not much more to say.

5.

Anime: Gankutsuou
Song: You Won't see me coming
Artist: Jean-Jacques Burnel

Visually this is top-notch, so stylish! The art fag inside me is purring. If the song would be better (it's OK) this would have been number 1 probably.

4.

Anime: First Squad: The Moment of Truth
Song: Blade Wind
Artist: DJ Krush

Weell, the movie itself is bad but the ending credits are one of the best I've seen in animated movies. Quite Western world -like I'd say, cool song.

3.

Anime: Cowboy Bebop
Song: The Real Folk Blues
Artist: The Seatbelts feat. Mai Yamane

This freaking anime always delivers! Someone might say that this is boring since it only contains still pictures but no; all of them are so cool to look at and they contain that fantastic film noir, Bebop-like atmosphere. Great piece of jazz music.

2.

Anime: Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom
Song: Transparent
Artist: KOKIA

I'm gonna copy what I said about Phantom's OP in the other blog post since it's describes this as well: "Awesomely directed, cool & stylish, dark and has kick-ass music." Actually these words describe my number 1. choice perfectly too...

1.

Anime: Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica
Song: Magia
Artist: Kalafina

...this just has the edge because of when it was played first time. All whom have seen Madoka know what I'm talking about. It was one the biggest "shit just got cash"-moments I've had with anime and ofc Kalafina rocks.

Holy, I writed this almost one and half hour. Well, fun way to kill time I guess.

As we all know, OP is like a business card for an animu, so it is natural that they are given a lot of attention. They are also something the viewers are "forced" to watch about everytime they watch a new episode.

So, which are the 10 OPs I personally find the best and for what reasons? This list gave me some hard effin time, but here it is anygay.

10.

Anime: Carnival Phantasm
Song: Super Affection
Artist: Minami Kuribayashi, Miyuki Hashimoto, Faylan, Aki Misato, yozuca*, rino

This made it's way to the list a bit suprisingly. But I really like Type-Moon characters and seeing them in such a ligh-hearted concept is just fun. Not to mention indian Berserker/Hercules. Song is also pretty addicting. Woouo-woouo-woouo-yay-yay!

9.

Anime: Gankutsuou
Song: We were lovers
Artist: JJ Burnel

Beautiful, touching and artistic. Just like the anime itself. Awesome stuff.

8.

Anime: Shingetsutan Tsukihime
Song: The Sacred Moon
Artist: Toshiyuki O'mori

Oh man, talk about atmospheric OP. The quality of the anime itself may be a bit questinoable ("there is no Tsukihime anime") but this opening is not far from perfect. Very well directed and the music is just so fucking good.

7.

Anime: Baccano!
Song: Guns & Roses
Artist: Paradise Lunch

Can an opening, that is inspired by the awesome movie Snatch, be nothing else than awesome. Nope. Entertaining opening, entertaining song. Cool.

6.

Anime: Kurozuka
Song: SYSTEMATIC PEOPLE
Artist: WAGDUG FUTURISTIC UNITY

This reminds about Death Note's 2nd opening. They both have awesome, little bit rougher song than anime OPs usually and they both have same cool, dark imagenary in them. I just put this up, because I want to be different and not go with Death Note.

5.

Anime: Cowboy Bebop
Song: Tank!
Artist: The Seatbelts

I love film noir, I love Bebop, I love jazz, I love this OP.

4.

Anime: Rainbow: Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin
Song: We're not alone
Artist: coldrain

This is here mostly because of the song that I really like. There is nothing wrong about the animation, but there is nothing remarkable in it either. Actually this should have been earlier in the list, but I do not feel like changing the order anymore.

3.

Anime: Clannad
Song: Megumeru ~cuckool mix 2007~
Artist: eufonius

Simply beautiful. Always reminds me about Fuko arc ;__;

2.

Anime: Texhnolyze
Song: Guardian Angel (Xavier's Edit)
Artist: Juno Reactor

1.

Anime: Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom
Song: Karma
Artist: KOKIA

These two openings could be either way on this list. Both are awesomely directed, both are cool & stylish, both are dark and both have kick-ass music. Perfection.

Phew, that was hard. And I still think that I forgot so many great OPs. Oh well.
