An Artifact of great importance, it was considered to be forever lost as it haddisappeared with the death of its' owner. However, it was discovered in the mid 1900s when a nobleman's possessions were auctioned, and unaware that the item in their hands was the Pendant of Yzár, the buyers exposed it at a museum as one would an ordinary piece of jewelry. It was latter smuggled by the Delacroix family, whose eldest son had immediately recognized the jewel for what it really was.
