Whaa!!
Anime Relations:
Darker than Black: Kuro no Keiyakusha
It's been horrible. I've been so busy working that I have not watched an episode of anime in a week. A week! Can you believe it?
Darker than Black was an interesting watch. It was bloody, a little gruesome even, but pulled shy of the usual lengths such anime go. It was actually a little disappointing. I had no problem at all walking away from it. I realize that a dark-haired, emo assassin is popular (I love you, Itachi and Sasuke!), but when they have all the expression of a lamp-post, it's a little hard to get involved with them. I don't really care what happens to him. I don't want to know about his life or his past. I don't even really want him to keep being cool. I just wanted the whole thing to go somewhere, and wherever that place was to be interesting. Is that so much to ask?
Probably.
