C (1 - 11)
It was different than what I expected but all in all still pretty good. It had solid characters, an interesting concept and some nice drama. The battles were rather meh but near the end they picked up. Obviously, there was some nice fanservice but it wasn't overwhelming, pretty limited to character outfits. I wasn't fully satisfied with the ending but it was still ok as far as endings usually goes.

The concept of the financial district, the battles (deals), the servants (assets) and how money and the economy were at the center of everything was well executed, but I felt it could have been better; often sacrificing elements of depth to maintain its more shonen (battle) elements. I originally thought the series was going to be about the main character receiving a fortune and then deciding how to act in the financial world to better the world as a result (reviews lead me to believe that) but the main character wasn't so much trying to better the world as he was coasting along the events that occurred until he got decided in the last episodes. I guess I'm disappointed it was more "normal" and didn't try to be more innovative, especially with the premise it chose. Nevertheless I still recommend it, if nothing else it handled what it had pretty well.

ICE (1 - 3)
A short and very underrated series. For the few episodes it had it introduced an interesting story as well as good characters. Basically the story of the end of the world where only women survives sounds like a bad setup to excuse a yuri plot, but it was handled quite well and the story itself, while obviously containing yuri elements, wasn't that much focused on it. Its story can hold its own and that's quite a feat for a 3 episode OVA.

The character designs were pretty nice, the action was short but good and the characters had screwed up but interesting relationships. The show brought some interesting themes during its run: How to deal with the imminent end of humanity, whether to accept fate or not, abuse... For a short OVA, it was rather packed and in a good way. Its weak link is its animation though; the art style was good but the animation was far from OVA quality. So short of the phrase "Vicious men" being thrown around a lot and weak animation, this is a pretty solid title.

Nausicaa and the Valley of the Wind
Surprisingly good for a Ghibli movie, easily the best I've seen of them as well. It had a realistic handle on war, managed to show how both sides could be doing evils while being well intentioned and had fairly interesting characters. I really liked the post-apocalyptic setting as well as the overall look of the world, the action sequences were decent and the airships were pretty cool. My main complaints though lie with the formulaic "Strong girl and basic male companion" thing Miyazaki seems to have in every movie he does and in how, while relevant to the main theme, having

Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory (1 - 4)
Slow but ok start with things becoming quite epic during the end of the 4th episode. I like the idea of Zeon rebels and the action is pretty great too. Though whoever the hell is that moronic idiot grabbing every @ss on the ship and drinking his own @ss off is really royally pissing me off; one damn annoying character.

Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory (5 - 9)
Alright, things just became a lot more epic. I'm starting to see the connections between this OVA and Zeta as well and since we caught a glimpse of Axis I'm hoping for so Haman and maybe even Char before it's all over but that might be too much to ask. We saw a lot less Bernard in these episodes so that just had to bump the quality of the series a notch. Overall very pleased with what I've seen so far and expecting this to get even better by the time it ends.

Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory (10 - 13)
Pretty epic ending and it does answer why the Titans moved from being a sports team to becoming the SS of the Solar System.
I thought it could have used more Haman and Char (we had none actually) but I can live without.

Overall one of the better titles of UC that stands right up there with F91.

Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny (36 - 44) [Re-watch]
I had almost forgotten how epic, how intense and how awesome the series became right after Athrun's escape from Durandall. The battles are more intense and more dramatic and the events are just grander. Overall the series goes from one dramatic and epic twist to the next all the way to the

ef - a tale of memories (1 - 5)
About ten times better than I expected coming in. Very pleased I picked up this one. It also has some similarities to Rumbling Hearts, obviously, which is a good thing for me. The two titles are still completely different though so I can enjoy them both as works of their own. What I mean is some plot devices are pretty much identical but the characters, relationships and focus is very different from one show to the other so neither series loses on originality.
