Anime Relations: NHK ni Youkoso!, Nodame Cantabile, Clannad: After Story, Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai, Shinsekai yori, Monogatari Series: Second Season
Favorite Animes:

Shinsekai Yori: The title, From the new world is an obvious reference to Huxley's dystopian novel Brave New World, one of my favorite book. Instead of a the usual futuristic setting I appreciate how SSY choose an atypical traditional fantastic (somewhat reminded me Nagi no Asukara). I really loved the pretty unique mysterious fantastic and contemplative atmosphere which yet progressively depicts us with a slightly horrific tone a supra-totalitarian state.

Welcome to the NHK: As someone who has once experience a severe depression and isolated myself a lot, I found that some of Satou's behaviours related to the way he perceived the attitude of the other, the lack of self-esteem and corollary unhealthy lifestyle rang very true.
There are many flaws in the anime, most notably: the low-tier animation (fortunately the ost, full of blues with its' quite depressing tonality fits really well with the atmosphere), Misaki's development which was quite underwhelming, and the way the anime handled its second part after the excellent island arc disappointed me. Despite this, this anime is nonetheless one of the few that reached me on personal level and among my favorites.

Nodame Cantabile: My favorite romcom.
The mature environment (conservatory/university) really helped to build up a really fresh and light-hearted romcom which avoid the high-school clichés. The 2 main characters are really endearing, I really love the alchemy between their opposite characters and the associated humor.

Clannad After Story::Clannad S1 was a very decent harem school life drama but just like most people claim, and I agree, After Story is the reason why Clannad is so good.

Guilty pleasure anime: Oreimo :(No I don't have little sister and don't know the pain they are IRL. :x)
