Well I keep telling people I'm gonna make another one of these and I never get around to it. It's about time I make good on my word so here we go. Yakushimaru Etsuko has been involved in quite a few anime including Tatami Galaxy, Space Dandy, Mawaru Penguindrum and Arakawa under the Bridge. Her contributions to these series come in the form of music. While she doesn't compose entire OST's like say Hirasawa Susumu or Yoko Kanno, she does make some wonderful music both by herself and with her band Sōtaisei Riron (Theory of Relativity). I really enjoy her voice, there is something almost effortless about her singing. I find it rather calming/relaxing and just very easy on the ears overall. I think it's just better if I let the music do the talking for me so here is some my favorite songs from her.



























Yeah shes put out a lot of stuff and seems to have a fairly steady relationship with the anime industry, her songs being used most recently in Space Dandy, which wasn't too long ago. So hopefully we see more of her soon.
