Welcome back. Last time I blogged CeSHIRIa Alcott and her big ass, who told me to go to the greenhouse through the grand dining hall. She told me, not her ass as asses don’t talk. Mostly. They do make sounds, and they are more reasonable than some people’s average comment. But anyway.

Head

Hair
Sernia has blonde hair. Not surprising given this month, but still. At least it fits with her ojou character type. She also has drill hair, but it must be the most epic drill hair ever. Like each or her twin drills are HUGE and over half her back’s width, and both are roughly waist-length. It’s quite ridiculous, but I adore it. They also bounce when she gets irritated, and when angry they SPIN. It helps they’re called drills in-series too. She also has a nice big white ribbon on the back of her head helping hold them. She also has an ahoge, but nothing special. Pretty much her only weak spot are her bangs, as he has this parted bangs style a lot of ojous and noble characters have. It’s not bad, but still inferior to blunt bangs. Regardless, her hair drills will pierce the heavens.
Grade: B+

Because your drills are gorgeous, that’s why. They look so big and soft! *embraces gently Sernia from behind, rubbing against her drills*

Eyes
Sernia has blue eyes, yet again. Typical for an ojou, but still. At least as usual she has a very nice tsurime, though it’s not as noticeable in the novels. In general her eyes are a bit better-looking in the anime, so go XEBEC not being a failure for once. Sadly this pretty much covers all I can say about her eyes, it’s not like she wears glasses or gets heterochromia or has anything unique, and I’ve been talking about blue-eyed blondes for a month so I ran out of things to say.

Body

Build
Sernia has measurements! Okay, so lately I haven’t been too bad at this, but still. Her height is 168 cm, kind of tall but I guess they blame her quarter British side. Because everyone knows Englishmen are tall while Eastern Europeans are midgets. Her three sizes are 88/60/87, a shame her bust is bigger but at least it’s just by 1 cm. I will also use this chance to say this show’s measurements are AWFUL! Nearly all the girls are top-heavy for no reason, with THREE girls running straight into the 90HB, and just to be jerks the lolis and the reverse-trap have NO measurements beyond height. This really annoys me, it’s like saying “Pfft, who cares about FLAT girls, they are flat so they are not worth ANY effort” and is just plain rude. No wonder XEBEC got this show! But ironically this is what makes Sernia good, as they kept the plump curvy style Kanokon already used and this made Sernia look pretty good, simply by giving her thick thighs as well as a great ass. Really, the only issue Sernia has is when she and Tomomi are in the same picture Sernia gets saddled with showing her chest and Tomomi her ass. I could try to be positive and think they’re doing this because Tomomi is the only girl with bottom-heavy measurements while Sernia is top-heavy, but we all know they only do this because Sernia is bustier and that means only HER chest deserves love, while asses only exist for flat girls to show. Sigh. And speaking of her chest sometime her jiggle was animated rather poorly, especially in the DVD specials. Even if I hate breasts jiggling I want them to do them right, dammit.

Right, I know as a XEBEC character this concept is too difficult to grasp, but we exist.

Butt
But THIS should be jiggling, dammit! That aside Sernia has a rather nice ojou posterior thanks to the art style as said. There are also nice images showcasing it, even from the novel. Sadly fanart is rather crummy at this, but I blame the show not having much of that to begin with. But, really, the main issue is Sernia didn’t get any noteworthy butt scene like Sanae’s facesitting or Hedyeh’s buttshake. If only she had buttsumo with fellow main heroine Tomomi maybe she’d do better! If only, man.

Clothes
Nothing too special. Sernia’s default costume is her school uniform, a sailor-type. The top is a bordeaux shirt with puffy shoulders, white neck and sleeves, a orange ribbon with a gem-like decoration in middle, and pink ribbons on bottom. The bottom is a miniskirt with a white stripe crossing the lower area. Not the best, but is unique and looks good. Sadly she fails Ojou 101 and doesn’t wear thighhighs or pantyhose or any other leg-covering clothing. Boo bare legs! Her other costumes are not too interesting though, most of it being fancy dresses. She even loses her top in one easily, boo! She also wears multiple bikinis between specials and her official art, but in some of them and most notably the DVD special one she has “support woes” as Topaz and I say. Basically that means her top is too small, but not a string, and doesn’t support her breasts well. That just causes backaches and is bad for the girl, plus it doesn’t look really sexy either! Put her in a thong instead, similar idea but no drawbacks. Sernia wears a string swimsuit in one image, but sadly from the front so again same problem. She even has this in the image where she’s a cheerleader, boo! Not all her costumes are bad though, Sernia also wears a gym uniform with SPATS and that’s nice. She also gets two different sexy nightwear costumes and a maid uniform with thighhighs and a garter belt. Furthermore her usual underwear is boring white panties, but at least in one novel image she has a THONG under her pajamas. Overall Sernia’s costumes are okay, but having chest focus AND have it be poor chest focus at that costs her some points.

Mind

Personality
Sernia belongs to a noble family, as is usual in this month. She’s a quarter British, I take from her father’s half, and has the “Red Wings of Baron Waterfowl” coat of arms. She’s hard-working, and tries to keep a noble appearance. In the series she is one of the two main girls after Akiharu the male lead. Interestingly, despite appearances the main girl is NOT actually Sernia, but Tomomi. I told you, proud ojous are not allowed to be main girls. Guess the anime played up Sernia because she’s likable, while Tomomi is the way people wrongly accuse Yozora of being: A mean bully who mistreats people around her for fun. And, unlike Sena the spoiled cow, Sernia is nice to others. Sadly seems the novel ends without solving anything, boo. Mostly ends like the anime, but luckily the novel has Akiharu focusing on being a butler and not just being dense. Boo that! Despite issues concerning her show Sernia is overall quite enjoyable, but since she hails from a simple plot show I don’t have much more to say. Drats.

: Slave, this is your shortest “Personality” section in months! Or maybe ever!

Like I said Sernia is from a fairly light show. At least Azusa had 4 manga volumes, 30 or so anime episodes, and a movie to draw from.

Unless they’re guys turned into girls with twintails. That’d be terrible.

Libido
Since much of the series revolves around the love triangle I have a bit more to say here. Both girls like Akiharu, but Tomomi muddles this with her bullying so childhood main heroine or not I don’t support her cause. Sernia is better, showing genuine love for the guy. Okay, sure she’s not perfect due to her pride, but she beats Tomomi by a mile. It helps at one point she kissed Akiharu and Tomomi accepts her declaration of war, as this makes Sernia seem assertive. Oh, and in the DVD specials she was flustered for having to show her body off so there is that. Guess I didn’t have a lot more to say unfortunately, not all the blogs can be epic rants. Oh yeah: Boo no love winner.

Age
Sernia is in the first year of high school, so 15-16. Her birthday is the 24th of December and that means, besides she’s a better present than Takao, she’s nearly 8 months younger than her love interest. Not this is a huge deal or anything, but is there.
Grade: B+

Voice
Mai Nakahara is a VA with a cute voice and I kinda like her even if she never gets great stand-out characters for my tastes. Sernia is the obvious exception though, and having glorious OJOUSPEAK helps tons. She needs more great roles regardless.

...And now we’re left alone. Oh well, let’s go! *marches with Katja to the greenhouse*
