favourite openings
Anime Relations:
Black Lagoon, Death Note, Darker than Black: Kuro no Keiyakusha, Zombie-Loan, Durarara!!, Deadman Wonderland, Mirai Nikki, Psycho-Pass, Shingeki no Kyojin
Openings set the feeling of the whole series.
A boring OP can make otherwice excellent anime seem bland, and an exciting OP in
front of bad anime can raise the expectations.
Everyone have different tastes about openings. Some like stuff with lots of colours
and images bonbarding to your screen, others little more considerant and simple.
My main criteria is the openings fitting to the series and the excitement it brings.
A perfect OP makes you want to watch the series right this very second. No delays!
Durarara!! opening 1.
Uragiri no Yuuyake by Theatre Brook
This is just so unresistably catching.
It's well made, sets up the errantic feeling of the series and introduced all the characters.
Shingeki no Kyojin opening 1.
Guren no Yumiya by Linked Horizon
This is the epithomy of the word epic.
It makes the whole fight agaist titans bigger than life itself.
Deadman Wonderland opening.
One Reason by Fade
This sets you immediately to the haunting set of mind.
It describes well the ultimate feeling of the series, the fear, madness and unreality.
Mirai Nikki opening 1.
Kuusou Mesorogiwi by Yousei Teikoku
This makes the game of the diaries sound even more exciting that it actually is.
I love how it brings up the mess in Yuno's mind.
Death Note opening 1.
the WORLD by Nightmare
This just don't leave your mind.
It sets the battle between L and Light geniously, and portrays the shinigamis superbly.
Zombie Loan opening.
OOKAMI no NODO by The Birthday
This brings forward the youngfull excitement of the series.
It's a little weird, but catching, like the series.
Black Lagoon opening.
Red Fraction by MELL
Just unique combination of blood and beauty.
It could so easily have been overdone, but it isn't.
Darker than Black opening 1.
Howling by Abingdon Boys School
This gives a great view to the dark world.
And it intrduces us to the many sides of Hei.
