THOUGHTS

Akatsuki no Yona
(Epi 13) -So far, kinda enjoying the anime. It doesn't have anything particularly noteworthy, but I like the characters and story so far.

(Epi 15) - Epi 14 really impressed me, and this anime's character development is pretty awesome. Finally, there's some progress on Su-Won's side. I do wonder how this show will end. IO suspect Yona's father really did do some suspicious things or would have definitely lead the nation to its demise and Su-Won's goals are probably noble. I wonder how it'll pan out when the truth is exposed... I'm gonna say it now, I predict Su-Won will probs die or lose the throne against Yona, but it will be those conflicted kinda battles where u cannot say for certain who's right or wrong. Or maybe Su-Won misunderstood the king's intentions and will redeem himself? There could be far bigger forces in play that forced Yona's father to resort to killing Su-Won's father and allowing the nation to wither... hmm... xp...

Kiseijuu
(Epi 13) - Best anime I'm watching atm. Solid cast of characters (yes, including Murano, imo), thrilling story, with great visuals. Definitely on track to be the best anime of 2014/15

(Epi 15) - Agh... as usual, every episode is intense. I'm getting a tad bit worried abt how this show is gonna end. I have this tiny doubt in the back of mymind that the conclusion could be somewhat of a letdown... BUt, besides that, things are still looking good. Looking forward to the Miki vs Migi fight.

Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso
(Epi 13) - Really liked it in the beginning, slowly disappointing me. I don't quite know why, but I suspect bcos the Drama is becoming overdone and the way they're interpreting music in the anime is getting really cheezy and fake-ish.

(Epi 14) - I dunno... I'm feeling a little uncomfortable with the anime... It seems like it's doing everything right, hell, it's doing loads of really good things, but I can't quite bring myself to like it. Things somehow feel a bit forced and random throughout.

Tokyo Ghoul Root A
(Epi 1) - The first season ended on a pretty shitty note, but with Ishida on board and already making changes to the storyline, I have some faith in improvements this time. Unfortunately, not enough faith to put my hopes too high yet

(Epi 3) - I'm actually kinda impressed. I feel like this season is going pretty well... Tgt with Aldnoah, the sequels of rather mediocre but hyped first season animes are turning out better than expected.

Death Parade
(Epi 1) - Felt a little bit too rushed. Still a bit early to gauge how great this anime can be, but I'll take a tiny leap of faith and say it'll probs be the best 1 cour anime of the Winter 2015 season.

(Epi 3) Was disappointed with Epi 2, but Epi 3 somewhat made up for it. Healed the heart a bit, u know. I do hope more questions get answered... I'm seeing a couple cracks here and there that are telling me this anime might just be all show no substance xp... I hope that's not the case.

Kantai Collection
(Epi 1) - Slightly confused, and didn't really buy the girls with fighting spirit of historic navy ships fighting aliens at sea stuff, but visuals were superb and would be a nice eye-candy anime to watch once a week.

Ansatsu Kyoushitsu
(Epi 1) - Epic. I like the setting and characters already. The concept already intrigues me. Something about the whole thing just felt really really enjoyable. Will definitely be anticipating future episodes.

(Epi 3) - Like the new character. Nothing much to add. I'm still quite liking this anime.

Aldnoah.zero 2
(Epi 1) - First thought after the epi ended:"What the f*ck???"... Inaho, Princess AND Saazbaum alive??? Terrans still as useless as ever, Inaho still as (or possibly even more) ridiculously OP as ever, Slaine more annoying than ever b4. Only character that became better was the princess and that's only cos she's asleep so she can't yap. One of the most wtf moments was how Inaho survived with Aldnoah powers... and frm the flashback that was given, he obtained frm giving CPR to the princess... WTF??? Is aldnoah like AIDS or Herpes? Why bother to make such a fuss about Royalty when their powers are transferable thru a kiss??? ....... Calm down... rant over... I'm giving it a 6 bcos despite the logic fails, I was somehow still entertained by this first episode. Tho, this ranking is likely to drop...

(Epi 3) On second thoughts, my ranking actually went up a tad bit... was pretty impressed by the animation and direction of the third episode. Got a bit of satisfaction seeing Slaine's betrayal... Still think he's twisted though... This small increase in score may only be a temporary blip, but I do feel like part of the reason I'm even scoring it low is bcos I'm a bit prejudiced frm the first season... tbh, this second season hasn't been to bad, considering how the first season went.

Junketsu no Maria
(Epi 2) - I'm kinda liking this anime... have to say the artwork is pretty awesome... the character designs are pretty sweet too xp... It suffers a bit frm some stereotyping, but it's only minor and I suspect it was more to get the point across and will not likely continue. It introduces some deeper though not exactly original themes about religion and what it means to do good.

Rolling Girls
(Epi 3) - Has some of the whackiest art of the season. Gives a bit of Kill la Kill vibes, but with vibrant, clean and bright colours. Honestly, the characters are kinda mediocre, and the story is a bit too confusing and weird, but the art and music kinda make up for it. Story is unfolding a little awkwardly...
