Welcome back. Last week I fought a DxD girl and the universe didn’t collapse. She and Kuchinashi joined our ever-increasing party and now we march into the unknown once more, which sucks for Topaz and his monthly summary blurbs as he doesn’t know what to write on them.

: Ara ara, you could say you’re BOLDLY COMING where no Zettai has been before!

That makes it sound like I try to bed all non-Earthlings I find.

: No, no! I will fight you, Zettai! I have the means... and you can’t beat them, I guess? *Laila pulls out a milk bottle and starts drinking*

Are you taunting us Young Link-style?

: I am not! *pouts* Behold! *starts growing huge, eventually becoming 8 times taller* At this size, I won’t lose... right? *pulls her holy rifle and starts shooting at the Nadesico, making it shake*

: Argh! *trips and falls down hips on the air, her buruma-clad bottom ready for a spank*

: Nice! *spanks Rei’s butt, then falls herself in the same position*

: Zettai, do something!

On it! *spanks Cthuko’s red behind*

: Nothing but idiots... I meant you should protect us!

Right, right... ABSOLUTE TERRITORY FIELD! *a shield protects the Nadesico from Laila’s gunshots. She keeps firing, however* I won’t be able to keep this up for long!

: Slave, do a blog on her as that should help!

Head

Hair
Laila has blonde hair, and it’s also short. You’d think her score would be low, but not really. First, angels in classical paintings have blond non-long hair, so Laila actually has an excuse to look this way beyond the “BLONDES RULE” thing people seem to think. Her hair is also pretty nice, since it’s curly and wavy so once again fits her angel design perfectly. She even has ojou curls on the sides of her hair, adorable! Plus this is more clothes but her hat is great. Laila surpasses expectations!
Grade: B

Eyes
While the standard for angels is blue eyes Laila has PURPLE ones instead, which is much better. Unfortunately they’re tareme, but a good one and her determination makes her close her eyes slightly which also helps. When in her serious powered-up Angel Form she gets golden eyes matching her hair with Star of David-shaped pupils, which for me is a huge boon! The color, the Star of David is just interesting. Sadly she doesn’t wear glasses as Queen’s Blade reserves that only for the bustiest girls, but otherwise Laila is great.

Body

Build
Once again Laila has measurements, man I’m on a roll lately! Her height is 164 cm which is definitely over my preferences though not terrible either, and sadly her weight is unknown. Her three sizes, however, are AWESOME. Sure B86/W56/H88 might not sound impressive, but aside from the lolis Laila is the ONLY QsB girl to have her hips surpass her chest! I wish it was by at least 5 cm or so, but like with Takane I’ll take it. To put it this way, she ties with Melpha for third biggest ass in the franchise but her chest is TEN cms smaller than Melpha’s, and the two girls who surpass Laila in ass one equals Melpha in chest while only besting Laila’s butt by 3 cms and another has hips 11 cm bigger than Laila’s but also breasts 34 cms bigger. Yeah, next to these girls Laila looks really assy. Being fair the #5 girl has hips 1 cm smaller and breasts 3 cm bigger, meaning Laila is not THAT impressive. Still, more shows should have bottom-heavy girls! Measurements aside Laila is good too as she has great legs and a nice slender stomach. Her bust isn’t exactly flat and she shows it sometimes, but all other girls even the one with the massive chest from before show their asses plenty so this is fair and doesn’t affect Laila’s great score! Oh yeah, she only has one wing because she’s only half-angel and that’s how it works.
Grade: A-

Butt
This is Laila’s best feature, score be damned. Laila is the ass girl of the series, and this is a series where all the girls are ass girls. Minus maybe the Swamp Witch in the OVA and Nowa in her book. But the point is there are asses galore and yet Laila stands out. Mostly thanks to her EPIC underwear that shows off her ass a lot, giving her the most pervy underwear in a series where girls wear mostly thongs and not as underwear but as their whole bottom body clothing. Her ass is pretty nice too like is the standard for QsB, and best of all it’s featured A LOT. Really, despite her short screentime she has lots of buttshots in every scene save for the finale as it was more serious and they had to tone down the fanservice. The OVA with her also has a lot of buttshots of her and in general making it my fav OVA of the series. Her book is the best part as it has about TEN or more different shots of her rump, often close-ups in butt-emphasizing poses. All in all she only needs the fame tho I blame for that all non-Annelotte Rebellion girls lacking in fanart. Rebellion needs more love!

Clothes
Only one costume I know of, but it’s awesome. It’s her angel assistant uniform which consists of a cute red hat with a feather theme, a breast plate which leaves her nice back bare because of her wing and backs are sexy, her fake wing named Nephilim’s Plumage that lets her use angel powers due to her half-ness, a red miniskirt and under it the best part of her costume: Backless panties. Seriously, even if I mentioned them before they need to be emphasized. I love backless panties but those are very rare, so seeing a girl wearing them as her NORMAL costume is great! She also has winged boots so she can flee faster from encounters. Sadly this being her only costume hurts her score a little, picture if she wore Tomoe and Airi cosplays at some point!

Mind

Personality
Laila is as said a half-angel half-surface dweller, which was chosen to become the assistant of Nanael as she put the ASS in assistant. She’s determined if clumsy and inexperienced, which causes those around her trouble. Still Nanael sent her to the surface to fight off the return of the Swamp Witch. She actually managed to reduce Melona by the end of Rebellion S1, but only because Melona had been reduced already to a tiny size because plot stuff. She also helps in other matters, like in the OVA where she helps taking care of a monster terrorizing a town with the help of Nanael and Airi.

As said Laila lacks experience and does things at her pace, but is a friendly a nice person. She tries hard at her job as she’s not too bad at it. She’s pretty cute, but nothing amazing tho I still enjoyed her. Her weapon is a rifle that shoots holy milk to pin evildoers with it. In the OVA it looks more like the Wing Gundam’s weapon and for good reason! She also needs her prosthetic wing to use her angel powers, as said. Sadly Laila doesn’t have a lot of screentime so I don’t have a lot of say, but if she had more role she could be my favorite girl from the series!
Grade: B

Libido
Not really any, though she has little qualms on showing off her bare ass and enjoyed that one yuri bath. At least I don’t think she opposes sexuality either. She doesn’t even have a possible partner aside from Nanael, but she did get along fine with Airi so it’d be funny if the hell’s ghost paired up with the angel. Being my favs of each season sure has nothing to do with that.
Grade: C

Yeah, yeah, she’s a devil. Nanael and Airi had a lot of fanart of them hooking up. Just follow their example and go make up already.

Age
Laila is a half-angel, which seem to be immortal or at least have an amazingly long lifespan. That combined with looking teen-ish gives Laila a good score.
Grade: A-

Voice
Satomi Satou gives Laila a cute and nice silly voice that suits her spacey personality well. Also, with her we got the last of the K-On cast in Queen’s Blade! Youko Hikasa is in one of the video games, Ayana Taketatsu in the original and everyone else debuts in Rebellion. Between the original and Rebellion we got all of the female SOS Brigade members, that’s cool too. As for Laila she almost never says a sentence outright, she always stops halfway and ends things with a question as she’s insecure. Poor girl needs bigger guts! A bigger ass too.

: Not a sweat? *fires her rifle and blows all the missiles up, causing a big explosion and lots of fog*

: HAAAAH! *pops out of the fog and grapples with Laila*

: Aaah! *freaks out and flies away*

: Don’t escape! *catches up to Laila, grabs her waist and then heads down again, but drops Laila so she crashes against the ground*

: Uuuhhh... *stands up slowly due to her larger size*

: What, you give up? *presses her butt against Laila’s*

: I think not... but I am? *presses her butt back*

: I’m not giving up! *presses harder, shaking the Nadesico*

: Neither will I! *presses back, shaking the Nadesico further*

Aaaaaah! *falls tumbling down, luckily landing between two huge cushions*

: Z-Zettai? You tickle me...!

: What... What is this ticklish feeling?

: AAAAH! *rips a strong fart right on the relatively small Zettai’s body*

: OOOOH! *likewise breaks wind on the normal-sized Zettai*

Now I can die happy.... *passes out and falls down*

: Heroic dive! *swoops down with wings and grabs Zettai, then grudgingly brings him back inside the Nadesico as he wakes up*

: Zettai, as the captain you should never leave your post!

Not even when two curvy giantesses are fighting in front of us?

: Nope! Plus this should cause problems with Topaz... nothing but idiots, these bloggers...

: So that’s why it seems more time has passed. *blows up the two Clock Men with a knife and fork respectively*

Compass Man: I know where hidden chests and the boss are!

: Ara ara, my chest shouldn’t remain hidden, right? *fries Compass Man with Holy Lightning*

: No! They defeated my last Robot Masters easily... even if they did suck.

: And now for the finisher... HELL PYRAMID! *generates an energy field around her in the form of an upside-down pyramid with her head sticking out, then falls on Lan’s mecha destroying it*

: Not again... I must retre- *gets captured by Yami’s hair*

: You aren’t escaping any more.

: Sorry, I couldn’t believe Klan would betray us... But it seems this is the right side. Mind if I help you to make for my mistakes?
