Anime Relations: Monster, Kidou Senshi Gundam, Hunter x Hunter, Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu, Zoku Natsume Yuujinchou, Shingeki no Kyojin
Hello everyone, here is something I wrote for my MAL blog a little over a year ago, back in December of 2013[with some more edits]. I don't do much writing like this, since I'm bad at it, but I hope you read all of it and enjoy it just a little?
In my goal of reaching 600 complete[edit: currently over 700], here is a history of my Favorite Anime[edit: almost everything that was in my top 5, not just #1]:

[edit: new entry]
Ranma 1/2: I watch almost all of my anime subbed, and it's all thanks to Ranma 1/2, my first subbed anime as well as my first favorite. I can't really remember when...I say around 2000? It was babysitting that got me into anime. The kids were always watching Pokemon...and then it was Digimon, Yugioh and DBZ. So I started out with dubs but didn't become a big anime fan until a forum friend told me about the martial arts comedy. Though I didn't become a fangirl or anything like that with any anime until...

[edit: new entry]
Full Metal Alchemist: When it first aired on CN, it took me awhile to get it to it. Then suddenly, out of no where I became a rabid fangirl. It was Edward this and Edward that. I went to Hot Topic and bought a blanket, pillow case, sweater, etc. Everything online was FMA too(I even have an email Full_Metal_Jeann). Believe it or not, I watched this dubbed only, and along with Eureka Seven, the only two dubbed anime that I considered to be masterpieces at the time. FMA was one of the very few dubbed anime to be in my Top 5(along with Eureka Seven, Gundam Seed and Yu Yu Hakusho), all my other favorites were watched subbed, and that includes...

Monster: I absolutely love Johan Liebert(call me crazy for liking such a psychotic character). He is so amazing and brilliant in his persuasive ways to deal with others, such as causing someone to commit suicide(pure evil!). Monster was the first Anime that I considered to be a Real Masterpiece that it made me stop watching stuff like Bleach and Naruto. It even bumped Full Metal Alchemist from the top of my Favorite Anime list(and down to a 8/10[edit: 9/10 now after watching Brotherhood]). Though Monster is still a 10/10(and my most favorite Manga), the anime didn't last long as #1[edit: September 2007 to February 2008], because...

Hunter X Hunter(1999): It became #1 from February 2008 to January 2014(7 years as #1, the longest so far). What I love most about it is that it has the best friendship, even better than One Piece. Also, the way that they describe in detail about how they get their special powers(known as Nen), making it almost seem like you can actually learn it! The only problem with this series is that it didn't have a finished ending(and I was honestly satisfied with that). I rejoined Crunchyroll just to watch the 2011 version(the original is better imo). I wasn't interested in any other currently airing Anime, until in 2013...

Attack On Titan: As an Old School fan, I didn't think I could ever enjoy a much newer series as much as this(and I don't care about the hype)! I watched Attack on Titan/Shingeki no Kyojin right away(on Crunchyroll) when I found out Funimation licensed it, and as soon as I heard that opening theme, I was hooked! It was a breath of fresh air to all the moe shit that keeps popping up nowadays. Attack on Titan is the BEST anime of 2013, and the Titans will rule again when a second season airs! Speaking of Titans...

Mobile Suit Gundam/Zeta Gundam: Call me a Gundam Maniac. I don't buy the model kits or know every single thing about the franchise, like the names of all the Gundams. I just worship it as the best Mecha and won't rate any other Mecha as high. It all started with Gundam Seed, which was my first favorite Gundam series. Because of Seed I decided to give the older series a chance(I was a noob back then). Now both Zeta and the original(0079)are my most favorite Gundam series, and Char Aznable is my most favorite Gundam character(Setsuna from 00 is 2nd, and Haman Karn 3rd)! In the original there are Newtypes; Seed has the Coordinators and Gundam 00 has Celestial Beings and Innovators...

Crest of the Stars: Jinto's world was taken over by the largest empire in the galaxy: the genetic Abh, with their bluish hair and a lifespan of approximately 200 years. Jinto's father, a prime minister, handed their world over to the Abh in exchange for a standing in the Abh Empire. As a result, Jinto became a prince and was shipped off for an Abh Education. He then meets a princess of the Abh Empire, Lafiel, and from there they set off on a Journey, running from enemies while trying to make it back home. The ending of Crest is a prelude to Banner of the Stars, as the Abh Empire go to war in Space...

Legend of the Galactic Heros: Now this is what you call a Space Opera Masterpiece! Where the hell was this VERY RARE gem hiding all of my Anime Life? Oh, that's right, I was watching overrated mainstream shit like Naruto and Bleach. Damn, what a waste of time. Never before did an Anime move me to tears such as this beautiful and tragic story. There are hundreds of characters but none of them have special superhuman powers. Reinhard von Lohengramm and Yang Wenli are TRUE Geniuses who don't need any Geasses or Death Notes. smile emoticon *EDIT* 3-5-2014: I just completed it and it's now my #1 Favorite Anime. It's the best anime I've seen but not the most perfect(it has a few minor flaws). Only one series is considered perfect to me and that's...

Natsume Youjinchou: A slow-paced supernatural series about a young teenage boy who could see youkai, an ability that has made his life difficult. He inherits the "Book of Friends" from his late grandmother who could also see them, and makes many friends, as well as enemies, with both humans and youkai. I really adore Natsume and can't seem to be disappointed with anything about this series(all 4 seasons)! There's just something really special about it! I really can't explain why, considering Slice of Life is not really my favorite type of genre. Aliens?
