Anime Relations: Ibara no Ou, Persona 4 the Animation, Kono Danshi, Uchuujin to Tatakaemasu.
Another week means another shopping blog, and to be honest I didn't think I'd have something up this week, but taadaa! I can make my bills disappear with a decent paycheck. But to hell with my money answers, how about some anime to watch? Manga? Man fuck that shit!

ANIME: Three titles, one from funimation and two from Sentai Filmworks.

First up is a new movie release that I have been looking forward to, King of Thorn (Blu-ray/DVD Combo), released by Funimation.

Yep, looking forward to watch it, it was pretty cheap too, about $15.99 if I remember correctly. It also comes in a slip cover similar to how .hack//Quantum and Oblivion Island are, the kind that gives it enough extra inches to make it as tall as a dvd case.
Do I Recommend It? IDK, gotta watch it first.

Up next is more strange yet intriguing ovas from Sentai, This Boy Can Fight Aliens, released by Sentai Filmworks.

Hey someone needs to release all of the weird and interesting ovsa japan produce, which is only a few compared to the 80's and 90's. Like with the ova bundles before this one, or rather unlike them, this is very cheap and affordable, but this only has a single 30 minute feature (With a couple of shorts by the creator of this ova), so it's great to see the price reflect the content.
As for the actual product, it's pretty basic and it also comes comes in a recyclable dvd case, but there's a blu ray version also available for a slightly higher price.
Do I Recommend It? If today's offering of anime aren't weird or intriguing enough, this is a great fix.

And finally, FINALLY! Something I've been personally waiting for, Persona 4 The Animation: Collection 1 (Blu-ray), released by Sentai Filmworks.

Reach out to the truth! I-I mean, uhhh... Yeah I'm a big fan of Persona, Persona 4 in particular. And yeah, shut yer face about the anime, I get it, the animation isn't the greatest, it's acceptable, but not great. Though watching it on blu-ray makes the sloppy parts more, um, sloppy. But the quality is good, and the price is unbelievable, I only paid $36.99 for this blu ray set, a set that Sentai usually overcharges. But, there's a reason why it's cheap: Japan's fear of reverse importation. And their answer? No japanese audio, only the english dub (A good dub by the way). So if you want the japanese, grab the dvd version.
Do I Recommend It? Yes, yes, yes, but if you want the japanese audio, the dvd version is your only option (Other than the other obvious choice).

OVERALL: Average is best to describe this bunch, but each one offers their own value.

B- is the best I can grade this week.

Now that I got my blu ray fix, it's time to catch up on my manga.
