Susumu Hirasawa, one of my favorite Japanese artists, captures Berserk's atmosphere beautifully with his unique style. No other artist in existence has a sound quite like his — A sound that can instantly transport me into the fantasy world that is Berserk. In both his work on the Berserk anime and video games, he reminds us of how important a role music can play in our enjoyment of visual entertainment.
