This is, the video game and anime shopping, because, I couldn't find any manga that I wanted to get so yeah... It's a good thing I got some good stuff, content-wise, not package-wise.

VIDEO GAMES:This week just one again, but from my personal favorite game developer, Atlus.

Review coming later.

Review coming later, but I know it's like a modern retro game in the style of the original Legend of Zelda, but with so much customization that you can even build your avatar, bit by bit.
It's only $12.99 at your local gamestop, and it has a respectable score on metacritic, so it's an easy pick up.

ANIME:Three titles, but only 2 products, but at least they're both ovas from Funimation and Sentai Filmworks.

First up is the long awaited hit and spectacle masterpiece, FLCL: The Complete Series, released by Funimation.

WTF, no, not even that is the most appropriate way to describe this... Masterpiece?
Anyway, whatever your take on FLCL is it's undeniable that this anime is on a league of it's own, and I wish the re-re-release was too.
Of course the price is evident that Funimation wanted this to be accessible to all fans so that we wouldn't have to pay unearthly prices for... more well made and not as cheap seeming. But $24.99 is a great price, but I wish it wasn't a recycled dvd case at the very least... It has a slip cover though...
Do I Recommend It? Duh. Who wouldn't have FLCL in their collection? An idiot?

Up next on the ova train, is the double feature cgi sci fi anime, Coicent / Five Numbers Double Feature, released by Sentai Filmworks.

Two anime, one heavily underrated on this site, Coicent, and the other an interesting sci fi, Five Numbers.
They may be different stories but both are fully cgi animated, and look great in their right.
But... The packaging... I know Sentai is apparently "broke" but come on! Recycled all around! It's like as if funimation didn't include a slip cover on a release, and minus 4 dollars on a FLCL release.
Do I Recommend it? For the under appreciated Coicent, sure, but only if you don't mind cheap dvds.

Overall: With no manga or a proper review of the video game, the recyclables are all a get to look at, even if they host good ovas.

C+ for this week.

Don't worry, there will be manga!
