Apple is working to correct battery problems faced by users of devices carrying its i0S 5 mobile os, solve a security issue with the magnetic SmartCover for the iPad 2 and add a brand new multi-touch feature to its original tablet.

The battery malfunction issue sparked loud complaints from some users.

Just two days after Apple delivered to developers the very first beta software fix for bugs that affect battery life of iOS 5 devices, the company has set out the second update to deal with the matter.

Apple said soon the fix for battery-zapping bugs will certainly be out “in a few weeks,” yet the two betas -- just two days apart -- means we’ll be seeing the update much sooner than that.

People aware of modern-day build made available to iOS developers said it is known as "9A404." Its available and accessible as a download from Apple's developer site, or as an over-the-air update for those already running the earliest iOS 5.0.1 beta.
