Kill me now...
Right now I am not very praud of being from Sweden... Seriously. A new program started airing here today with the title "Help, I survived a Japanese tv-show!" and I think that speaks for itself. ( I know that USA had something like this awhile ago but this shit made my cry on the inside.
Really... We sent nine (I didn't acctually count, but I believe they were nine... ) of out 'best' swedish stars or what the hell you want to call them, but acctually I am not very fond of any of our representants... and the programm leader is a class of her own...anyway it started with that they talked about how exited they were and god knows what, and then they tried to talk japanese since they had to 'learn' the language. Okay, I am NOT learning japanese myself (yet, I'll after summer *w*) but even I could tell how utterly wrong they where... I mean "Arrrrrrrrrigatoooooooooooooooooo" not to mention that they seconds later traveled on a boat and practically screamed:
"OMFG!!! Skyscrapes!!!" for ten minutes, and then there were another five minutes with the swedish program leader appearing in a race boat and f*ck*ng posed like she was a porn star... with clothes... for FIVE minutes. I shit you not people, this is the freaking truth.
Then it took them 15 mintutes to eat and give the tv director presents. And well.. I lost count on how many times I face palmed when they talked about the food... or when they offered their gifts, the other more emberassing than the other. Hell, 'Anna Book' gave him a CD there she instructed people hoe to dance... SERIOUSLY!!
And then they dissed people.... just because they thought noone understood them... But I smyabe shouldn't yell to much on them since the japaneses also dissed us... (WAIT US?!!)
Anyway, I gave up before the competition actually started since they practically stupidify the entire japan and made it appear like the entire country had come crashing down from another planet. I am no longer suprised that people look down at us anime/manga geeks... it kind of reminded me of this years SakuraCon commercial... just much... much worse...
just to show every single one of you that the program leader doesn't seem to be interested in nothing more than getting laid I give you the link to the official webbsite.... (in Swedish...) Be sure to look out for videos named 'Gynning'... I just love that girl.... she just makes me want to smash my head into the closest wall.... isn't she lovely?
